- Roxanne| 1 replyI also received a phone call, I work for a neurologist... he said it was very urgent he speak with the Dr. to become the head of "Lead Medical" this is very odd. I asked him to fax something over and he seemed like he didn't know what to say and pretended to write down our fax number... hrmmm....

- Matt| 7 repliesMy veterinary office received a call on 1/15/2009 w/ somebody named "Rachel Smith" with Lead Medical in "London, England" wanting to speak to me with a "special invitation to become a panel member with Lead Medical".
Anybody have any definitive info.
Thx. - Kay replies to RoxanneWe got a call today from this guy too. Didn't sound like he knew who he really wanted to speak to. Said something about having a supervisor or tech be on a panel but didn't know what department he should talk to so he just wanted to talk to a technical person. Sounded Indian. Sounded like the typical clueless solicitor.
- MRI Tech in VA replies to Matt| 5 repliesJust rec'd this call at work moments ago. Also stated from Lead Medical panel. Wanted a radiologic technologist or MRI technologist to take syurveys for the "panel", with payment between $35 and $150 depending upon length of survey. All he asked for was an e-mail. I will check it out and report later if this is a scam or whatnot. WHo couldn't use extra cash for doing a survey?? ... probably too good to be true ...

All sounds questionable.- Caller: N/A
- Angela| 1 replyI just got a call from "Robert Nicholson". He wanted to speak to one of the doctors, then gave another name, and finally a third. His info was very outdated, as the third doctor is long retired from this office.
He sounded Indian. For someone from England, he sure didn't have an accident.- Caller: Lead Physician
- CJDJust recieved a call from Robert Nicholson from lead medical as well. Same story as the rest. Wanted me to particpate in an online panel for $25 to $150. He only wanted my e-mail address. Will post further if I recieve anything from him.

I think total scam - AMI received an email saying I was a member and to take a survey for $35.00. Web site has almost no information. Jess and Robert Nicholson say it is not a scam, but who are they other than cyber unknowns. I added it to blocked sites.

- Dr. K| 3 repliesThis company needs to be reported. I've done 3 online studies for them, and they didn't pay me. When I send them emails about it, they send me bogus emails saying the cheques were cashed.
I suspect they are cashing the cheques themselves. - G DocToday I initially got bleeped whilst on-call for plastics trauma. Had an automated voice machine trying to get my e-mail off me. Then had 2 further calls, to the oncall plastics bleep, from a non UK sounding chap who came across very over bearing trying to get my e-mail to participate in lead medical research panel. He didn't have the foggiest about any medicine or their research. Absolute waste of my time when I could be dealing with patients. Told the caller go away in no uncertain terms.
If you hear from LEAD MEDICAL AVOID them and don't give them any details.- Caller: LEAD MEDICAL

- Dr. MI was paged through the university operator and this was the first link that popped up when I googled them. I decided not to engage them. They offered to pay me $200 which sure sounded exciting. I told them I am not a lead in anything; I am a first year rheumatology fellow i.e rather befuddled. The representative said it was all okay and even took a guess at what my email might be and asked if it was okay to send something to that email address. The whole thing was just odd. He declined to send me anything on paper.

- M. Knight replies to wonderingMore likely Shane Smith - that's the name I got just a few minutes ago. He said they could only e-mail the information - nothing by fax. He gave me a long distance number 1-718-989-8659 if that helps. He sounded "ethnic" - just as noted in previous communications on this page. I would be leery.
