- KBGot a call from switchboard after hours from the UK and thought I had better take it. Was a 'lead medical panel' caller asking for my email as above. Very hard to understand and very pushy, said he'd pay me $280 for completing a survey. I only know what it was about as I gave him my email to get him off my back and got an email from them. The whole thing is very suspect, both their site and the survey site (oneservey.com) bring up almost nothing on google. This page and one other german page are all I could find regarding whether it was a scam or not. The one survey site seems to try to use a similarity to oneservey.org which appears probably more legitimate but unrelated.
In short I'm not going to get involved with them. I'm sure if they paid up and were a reliable site there'd be something more on them to dig up on google. Now if only switch would stop putting through this crap...- Caller: Lead Medical Panel

- Krueger| 1 replyI got a call from this same fast-talking British/Indian fellow. Wanted a pharmacy tech, but I'm a pharmacist and he said that was fine, and proceeded with his spiel. I only understood about 1/4 of it. He asked my name, email address, and my year of birth ("for survey purposes"). I then got an email ("Membership Confirmed") from "victoria@leadmedicalpanel.com," but there was nothing in the email. No links, no attachments, no words, nothing. So I'm not sure what to make of it.
- Mary replies to KruegerThese guzs are reallz a disaster!! They blocked my account several times and they said that i was using the same computer with other collegues. Of course you stupids, as I am working in hospital with other guys. The worst is that they called my Chef to see if i really do work there. They made me a lot of problems by calling. I do not even want to hear from them!
- "bob" replies to Robert NicholsonSo if the company is based in the UK, then why does the email give an address in New York? Im in the UK and got a call today. Certainly wanted to verify their legal status and registered address before commiting to anything. Seems like I'm not the only one who couldn't find much.
Could Mr Nicholson please answer this. What is the registered address please? - Dr Eric| 1 replyA lady from London UK Lead Physicians wanted to arrange a time to speak.
The number is 6465582608, she said it was a business call.
As this number is not operative, I am unsure who or what is involved.
I left a message on website of Lead Physicians and will see if someone replies.- Caller: Lead Physicians
- Marina replies to Dr EricHi there,
I also received a call from leadphysician.com . There was a woman on the phone that was very difficult to understand. Also, it sounded as if she was calling via internet and maybe from somewhere abroad because she couldn't speak at the same time when I said something and vice versa. Very weird. They constantly called me Dr. and knew my surname and obviously had my telephone number. I told her that I'm not a doctor but just a PhD student but she didn't care and didn't seem to understand what PhD student means which is very suspicious regarding the proposed objectives of this company. I also asked her how she got my telephone number but I couldn't understand her answer (I'm also not a native speaker and her accent was very very stong - India I would also guess). Anyway, since I was interested to figure out what that was about I gave them my email address - thought that was a safe thing to do. Since then, I received many emails from this lead physician website and particularly someone called Victoria. They always invite me to take part in surveys and want to pay me for that. I found that suspicious so never took part in a survey. However, I read an article from a German doctor who filled their surveys in several times and didn't get the money in the end.
I think that they are searching individuals doing research by just going through the websites of University institutes around the world and probably hospitals and things like that. I think that because I'm relatively new to my Department and they thought I would be a "psychiatrist" which I'm not but I work in a psychiatric Department.... and the only website that contains my name and telephone number is the University website. I also do not publish with my old surname and the telephone number they contacted because I married some time ago. So they can only randomly searched through the website.
Hope my info helps. If anyone has more info, I would be really interested to hear about that! - AAW replies to Dr. K| 2 repliesI did a few surveys over the last month and they have still not paid the cheques as promised!
they want you tell them the survey code- which they should have on their system from the research participation! this is not always easy and you have either deleted them or is somewhere amongst 2000 other emails!!
if i have the time and i will take legal advise, find their regulatory body and get them hunted and tracked down and close this scam. - lester cowellJust had a call from same set up - Indian accent, said he was in London. The caller wished to speak with the Doctor. So Ia sked him what time it was there and he hesitated with several seconds then said 05:00. Well it was 12:00 our tnme and we are GMT +8 so it should have been 04:00 local time in London. He had asked about participating in a panel of experts to give an opinion on studies for which payment would be made, but he just need to confirm some details first. "that won't be a problem will it ?" he asked
Total scam. Redflags were the hesitation on local time , wrong accent, unknown clinical feature and the phrase about just a simiple check of details. I have heard that before from all the scammers.
When I do such work for local companies the correspondence is already addressed to me and payment is by cheque. They always have my name and address from public register lists.

- NIESUW01| 3 repliesI cooperate with Victoria@LeadPhysician for years and filled out studies for them. The payment was o.k. But now, since August 2011 they don't pay my incentives - without giving a reason. My mails aren't answered, phone contact isn't possible because there is only a mashine on line. I'm now convinced: the company is acting fraudulently...
- Frank| 2 repliesdidnt get any payments since okt, 2011 and now completed surveys are not able to have a choice for the money... there comes an error, i cant get the money through the new mdnow screen :( anyone the same problem?
- Call type: Event reminder
- EG replies to FrankYes, I had the same problem. I contacted them various times and they said that the MNOW system is down. I think they have probably gone bust (with a lot of my time, unfortunately). They NEED to be shut down.
- Caroline Bradbeer replies to AAWI did a survey at the end of October and have been trying to get payment ever since. Eventually they sent me a link for an Amazon voucher which didn't work. When I protested they said they'd been having trouble with Amazon. It's clearly a scam - does anyone have any ideas what to do about them?
- larry| 4 repliestook a survey from them for 20....finished survey, redirected to site that i could put my 20 as credit towards an item in their online store ranging from $150 t0 $5000!
I am furious...total scam - berg replies to larry| 3 repliesIt's clear that it is a scam ...they keep sending you new surveys.once you completed them, they erase it from your honorarium history . Bunch of F*****G scammers.
- Sarah replies to NIESUW01This is exactly what is ahppening to me and my coworkers. It all began around the same time also. All honorariums have stopped. Some are still reported as being paid but have not been.
- Barbara replies to FrankHello,
