Guy called looking for my grandfather and i thought by law they had to tell you when you picked up the phone that it was a debt collection call. My grandfather went out of town and i told the guy that i believe his name was Tim Ton or something like that. he asked if there was a alternative way to contact him and i told him no. he gave me his number and his extention, and just before he hung up he said he better contact me before the police do and just hung up

A man's voice leaves a recorded message about a "very important business matter, that doesn't have many options to solve..." I am not in collections with anyone. Just bought a house last year, nothing came up on my credit report, and I have not made any purchases that I haven't paid for since that credit check. I think it's another scam to get personal info from the gullibles. BE AWARE! And don't let them scare you. Remember what they do for a living - they probably have no friends. Found this on another site:
National Action Financial Services,NAFS, Subsidary Of Sitel

The person who wrote in about this company was left a message to call the 800 # we are talking about.

The caller ID on my phone is 800-982-0484.

we've been getting automated phone calls from this number.  It never says a name or anything to identify who they're looking for.  Just some man saying we owe something and it's very important.  I'd have to imaging they would know my name if it was so very important.  The number they leave is 1-800-443-2963

Continually calls my business line (which is not a number ever used due to the magic of computer technology) and leaves a bogus message about calling for important business. When you call back you get this stupid recording that wants a lot of personal info which I refuse to give out. My number is on the National Do Not Call List - there is no reason for them to be calling at all.

Another "DEBT collector" wanting me to call someone else about a matter that she/he has been trying to contact me about. Maybe if you weren't so nasty on my voicemail, I might call you... nah. This woman (recording that says the same thing every time) asks to call "Mr. Finnegan" at 800-443-2963 but she's calling from 877-266-2776. Nothing on Google re that number, I will enter it in here. Must be a new extension they added to their sweatshop of losers.

Received 2 debt collector phone calls requesting a return call be placed to Mr. Finnegan.  One call was a recorded male voice and the other was a recorded female voice.  Both recorded messages were very rude.

I get numerous calls from 800-982-0482 (on caller ID) but asking that you return the call to 800-443-2963. The message is usually the same but they keep changing the voice that calls. Now have switched to a woman's voice.
This is extremely iratating especially because I can't block 800 numbers on my phone. They ssay they are a collection agency but don't ask for anyone specific. I haven't returned any of the calls but was advised by my phone service to use *67 and than call back. Find out who they are looking for and ask them to stop calling.

The recorded message warned me that they tried to reach me several times but couldn't reach me (they have not).  And due to the sensitivity of the matter they cannot disclose any details on the phone (why didn't they send me a letter or something instead).  The call wanted me  to call then at this number as soon as possible to discuss about my debt problem (I am 500% positive that I never have any debt problem).

we have been getting recorded messages several times a week from Marshall someone, wanting to know if we have received his correspondence... it's "very important", he sounds very angry about it, and he also mentions debt collection.  it's really getting old.

They called my sister in another state looking for my ex-husband - it's been more than 8 years since I was married to him and am not legally responsible for anything he did. I wish "Marshall Maxwell" would get a life and stop harrassing my family. He gave the (800)443-2963 number to call but that's not what popped up on Caller ID.

I too got one call looking for Mr. Finnegan and then another saying that I must call back about time-sensitive correspondence. Since I don't have any unpaid debts or any concerns of a "time sensitive" nature, I was very confused. I figure it's some sort of scam.
