This is a total scam! The "company" is The Caribbean Cruise Line. The owner is Dan Lambert - the same con artist that was involved in the Ramada Plaza Resorts that was sued by the Attorney Gerneral of Florida. They don't have a website at least a normal business one which would include about us/ contact info/ etc. nor do they give you a correct corporate address. TOTAL SCAM - do not buy into it.

    Thank you for the info.
I do not have a caller ID, so I do not know the number, but the call came from Caribbean Cruise Line. As you said it is a scam - impossible to find corporate info. Upon some search I came across some Terms and Conditions documents (like http://www.shopfreeus.com/Cruise.html) where one of the terms is (I love it): "You expressly waive all Federal and State No-Call Registry Protections for the purpose of future marketing by Caribbean Cruise Line."

The callers said I had won a free cruise only had to pay $59.00 for government fees.  I did not budge and asked for a website which the woman gave me.  The website was made up and the business was no where to be found.  It was a total scan to get my credit card information. Watch out!

I received a call from this company asking me to do a survey.  I agreed and they told me I had one a free cruise.  They called me back and the man was very, very, persistent.  I told him I wanted to check with my husband before paying the government fees and he got short tempered and very rude.  I asked for the website to verify and he said it so quick I didn't have time to understand what he was saying.  He also said Carmen Electra was the company's spokeswoman, funny how I could not find any information about it.  I believe this is a scam!

My husband received a call from this company after completing a phone survey.  He was not home so I took the call.  The caller was extremely persistant, fast-talking and after giving me his sales pitch transferred me to a "reservations agent" who was quite rude.  They definitely promised the moon and the whole phone call felt like a scam.  I said I was not interested in the trip and hung up.  They have called three times so far from this number and we will no longer pick up the phone.

they will call over and over and over again. right there tells you something. why would they be so GD persistent to give you something for free??? i did call them back & found that it was $59 per person to pay government fees, whatever that is. i said i need to discuss w/ my husband (trying to be pleasant, rather than hanging up on her) and she said "well, i asumed you could make a decision on your own?" she tried to get my CC info then & there b/c the offer was only good once, but i declined. please. rip off!!

I took the automated survey and after the survey somebody came on the phone and told me that I had won a free cruise and would be contacted within 24 hrs. I received a call from a sales rep. aka "rip" the following day. She gave me a website which is enticing: http://www.caribbeancl.com/ but with no contact info. and no mention of the free cruise promo. She told me the only cost was the $119 tax (for two) to go out of the country. She then told me I had to pay the fee to register for the cruise, requesting my credit card # to begin the process.
I asked her to first mail a confirmation and co. info. for the cruise that I had won and she responded with "We can't send promotional adds in the mail." If they ask for $ up front, it IS a SCAM!

I received an automated message yesterday that said I had won a free cruise and they gave me a number to call to retrieve it. Before I was able to call, they called me again today. The guy was pleasant and when I asked him what the catch was, he admitted there was a $59 port tax per person. I will need to research on whether there really is such a thing. He told me I have 18 months to use the free cruise and I must call 60 days in advance to book my date. He did notify me that we would need a credit or debit card to board the ship, but he never asked nor pressured me into giving him my credit card number over the phone or that I would have to schedule everything immediately or lose the offer. I am still skeptical on if this is really a scam or just another company using telemarketing to market their business. I plan on researching a little more before I make any decisions. After reading all of these posts, I'm afraid my skepticism has grown.

Go a call form 800-446-1524 while relaxed in the mall. took the call, and played with the fake survey they had. Oh, u've won a trip to the caribean just for taking it, they said,- right-, Go online and fill out the vital info like your CC and home address and stuff.

They continued to call me day afte day to give me a free ride, nobody gives anything for free. Even Jesus paid the price with his life for our sins.

Not a call. Through the mail--"register to win $2,100,000.00" via National Magazine Exchange.  "No purchase necessary."  But if you don't want one, the switch to the Caribbean Cruise Lines promo is very smooth and instant. Fascinating, too. I got caught.  The deal was not quite as good as those mentioned here. I wish I'd checked it out while they were talking.

i just got off the phone with these people, and looked up their website. If you visit the site and look at the terms of use, you can find an address for the company. 531 SE 5th Court, Pompano Beach, FL 33060. I copied the address and looked in up on google maps, with a street view. haha yeah this is a scam for sure!!!!!

I've just read all the comments about Caribbean Cruise Lines w/ Carmen Electra as their "spokes person". I've been taken !?!? I used a CC for the $59 per person fee. Now I'm scared! I don't know how to get that $ back. The call came from the same number many of the others are reporting (1-800=446-1524). The only part of my story that is a bit different is I called to arrange my sail date and was told it was too early to a reservation for Aug.2010 and to call again in several months time. All the people I spoke with were very friendly and answered every question I could think of. I am a newly amputated woman who just wanted to take this cruise to celebrate the anniv. of the day I fell in love with the man who has captured my heart (& who is my every thing & 24/7 caregiver). We've been together 3yrs and 1yr ago my medical probs. started, he didn't leave! WOW!!! I wanted to give him some thing back. This is what I get....a scam?!?! If any one out there can help me in any way please e-mail @ msistahj@aol.com serious replies ONLY!please! Gotta go now as I can barely see the key board through the tears. :0(

You need to cancel the credit card account that you gave them before they steal any more money. You need to do that NOW. Your cc company will issue you a new number.

This is well known scam, too bad you didn't research it a little first, this site alone is full of the exact same kind of scam.

Said I won a free cruise.  Looking for credit card info.  Talked real casually about where I grew up and what a great place Boston is.  Got really prompt when I said I am not giving you my credit card information.  "The free cruise is a great form of advertising for them"

    SCAMMER.

I can't actually report a phone call from this number 1800-446-1524...other than to say I am one of the peolpe you probably talked to when you answered the phone. I could probably get in a lot of trouble for this because I work for the company, and could loose my job...I took the job because I'm great at sails and had gotten laid off from a great company...and there are no jobs down here in florida. but I will say this I am scared to go into work everyday. I really don't think this company is ligit. I mean we tell you that we are senior travel consultants for caribean criuse lines but in all actuallity we are "private contractors" for KB Promotions. I know there is a real ship and people do go on the cruise and from people that I've talked to they love it...but to get a free cruise then get a 2day 2 night vacation in fort lauderdale....and then 2days/2nights in orlando....a free rental car for a week. or 100$ in gas reembersments if you don't need the rental....and then getting a bonus vacation for 3 days and 2 nights in vegas....and 2nights in mexico for 498.00 is just way to good to be true....so at the sake of loosing my job...please becarefull!
