Received call from person named, Sylvester offering me $200.00. I said I was not interested. Reverse look up for this phone # is the Office of Inspector General.

I received a call from this number, with a heavy accent couldn't make out there name. Said I had been selected by US government  to receive 9000.00 they just needed some personal information to verify. I hung up!

Just received a call from this number. Caller ID said

Did not answer no message left. Looked up the # before looking on this site and it's connected to .gov website stating Medicare Fraud report line. Umm... I've never made a report to them or know anyone that is on Medicare. So yeah it's a scam

Recd call and did not answer. If I don't recognize I don't answer. I figure if it's important they'll leave a message then I look up the number for remarks like the above comments and then l block it.

Its DHS. If you applied for health insurance they are calling to confirm. Stop panicking and being paranoid.

You'd receive something in the US mail if that were the case.  This is a scam most likely originating overseas.

If DHS has reason to contact you it's by mail! They don't call & not leave msg!

Received a call from this number 800-447-8477..  I answered with "How may I help you?"  Woman's voice on other end began to speak in an Oriental language!  No idea what she was trying to say?  I immediately replied, "Boo coo dinky dau, no comprende, do not call back, bye-bye." and hung up the phone.  In looking online to see about the above number, get a variety of locations. Just another scam of some sorts.  Will not answer to this number again, blocking it.

The number is being spoofed and is a scam.   Hopefully, I have added a link to the Dept. of Health and Human Services website with more information.

I received a called from this number 800 447 8477 which I spoke with a lady name Rachel stated she was calling from the Dept of Justice and I owe some Law Firm Money I asked her Law Firm and she staed Gordon Law Firm, I asked for all of her information to decline told me she was going to put me on hold. I hung up so I looked up this number and it was some type of Scam.
