I received a call from 800-455-8026 for the previous owner of my house. The caller wanted her to call this number, ext 14161 for an urgent personal matter, referencing #37360041. Nothing on the message identified the company, or that this was actually a collection agency. I am not responding to these calls, but I would like to know how they attached my number, which I carried over from my previous address, to the previous owner.

just recieved a call from these people on my cell phone . they called for my boyfriend (though they butchered his name)  and said he needs to call by 9 pm tonight for this personal and important bussiness matter ... umm if it's so personal why are you calling me the girlfriend who has nothing to do with his finances . i assume since we are on same cell phone plan that is why they called me .... seems strange he has no debt issues and doesnt have any outstanding bills.. i think it's sketchy

Someone left a very official message on my voice mail saying, "If you are not Sandy, Please hang up.  By listening to this call, you acknowledge that you are Sandy.  I will now wait 3 seconds before delivering the message" They then waited 3 seconds and left a message saying they wanted to settle a bill.  I called the number back at the extension provided and their was no voice mail available.  What kind of legitimate business has no answering service? CCA called urgent, about a nephew.  No more details and would not say what CCA stood for, and to contact our nephew...what the heck, seemed very strange. The name he gave me was Anthony Cass ext. 14815

The people from this CCA are rude and nasty and cant seem to provide any information for the monies the say that they are claiming and when asked what CCA means they say it use to mean something but it means nothing and they are now a third party collection agency. They give you fake addresses that the refuse to tell you where it came from. These people are harassing people and need to stop with their nonsense!

I have been getting a call from this number 18004558026 saying it was from CCA or PCA couldn't really understand it.  They claim to be a collection agency.  Always leaving me messages saying if I am ...to keep listening to the message an so on.  So when I call back that number and automated service picks up and aks the caller to press one if they have a cingular account 2 if they have verizon wiresless, 3 if they have att and so on.  But when I press that number it just rings and rings.

VERY IMPORTANT to return call. Sounded like a foreigner!

I have received this call 3 times all for my son who hasn't lived here in over a year. All three times they say it is a person matter, give 1-800-455-8026 as the number to call, usually with an extension number,a name and a reference number. This time it was Ronald Johnson. My son has no outstanding accounts and the last time he called spoke to someone who said the call must have been a mistake, they did not know why he got a call. If that is the case, why do they keep calling. Something is fishy with this number/company.

Have called several times asking for I believe my sister. They don't say her correct first name so I'm not sure they're even calling for her. We have never lived together or even live in same state. Say same script, urgent business matter. Sounds like a scam.

This place called my cell# looking for my ex wife.  How they got my cell # I will never know.  I'm not calling back and will ignore all future calls.  If they are looking for someone else and not me, why should I call back.

same thing.....business matter.  Seems lots of folks here are wondering how this company got your phone number.  Im sure you can thank your provider for that.  Selling cell numbers is a cas business, and im sure your provider will play dumb.

I received a message on my phone plus my boss received from same on his personal # not even the work #. It was in regards to my son John.They specifically mentioned my son's name on messages left to myself and my employer. I can understand them having my # as a reference he may have given but...he would not have given my boss's personal # as they said he did. I called them and tthey said my son gave my boss's name and work #. This is wrong! Can anyone tell me what I can do to resolve this unprofessional incident? My credit is in very good standing and this incident was quite embarassing!

Michelle called and left a message from ELPCA that it was urgent that Milton Bence or Megan Loyd call 1-800-455-8026 to try to collect an overdue debt.  She left the message that they needed to call back immediately before action was taken.  Once you call then plug in extension 14163 in reference to 38892207.  I called the number back and told them that my daughter's school loans were all caught up and her car payment was caught up.  She told me I was a very smart lady.  I hung up and checked to see what ELPCA stood for since she wouldn't tell me.  I couldn't find anything there so I plugged in the phone number and came up with all the scam stuff you have supplied.

Replying to my own comment. I just submitted a complint online to PA State Attorney General's Office. These people need to be accountable for deceitful and wrong business practices!

the name of the company is EOCCA they are most likely contacting you because they want to collect money from you. in my case it was for delinquent student loans through AES.

So jarred called me about an important matter just like yourselves, and ill tell you something all my taxes are paid, bills paid, and everything else is paid. f%cking scam dont pay attention to it.. its incredible that thease people get ur number and intimadate you.. unreal

I just got about 6 calls this morning from an Unknown #, which I never answer.  Finally I got a voicemail with similar matter as described in previous posts.  I know I do not owe anyone except my mortgate which is up to date.  However I know after cancelling my XM Radio, I continued to receive bills and after disputing them figured they were resolved.  I should of known after reading about XMs practices this would not get done.  I am fairly certain when I signed up several years back I did not give them my social or birthday, so can they really do anything except harrass the crap out of you???

FINALLY reached someone from the same number (800-455-8026)....kept calling for my mom at my place of business in regards to her overdue account. When i spoke with someone i just kept telling them i didn't have an extension # but i had a reference number. The woman wouldn't give me any info, but finally transferred me. (to who i have no clue). The gentleman on the phone wasn't rude or anything (but they didn't seem to have a problem with giving me info). apparently it was for my mom's xm radio, which was canceled a while ago. i'm not sure if this is xm radio's fault or if this collection company is trying to scam...but i will be contacting xm radio for sure!!!
