- fraud haterI received a message on my home phone stating this was the EOCCA collection agency and that I need to call them back as soon as possible regarding a very important matter. They even gave me an account # to refer to. I called them back and entered the extension (x14186) that they left in their message. It transferred me to a voicemail named Dave Gerde. I did not leave a message, and then I did an internet search of this company. Apparently, this company appears to be fraudulent, and it appears to be a scam to obtain your social security number!!! I do not have any outstanding debt, so if this company was legit, they would have no reason to call me!!!

- ErinJust got a call from this number looking for my neighbor. He asked if I would leave him a message and not thinking I said I would. He said it was concerning a personal matter. Once I came to my senses I called them back to find out how they got my phone number. I have an unlisted number and have removed my listing for the online sites I have heard of. He said it was some kind of search related to a social security number. They did answer the phone with a company that sounded like EOS CCA. Don't think I'll be leaving the message.

- RRThey claim to be an accounting management company called "EOS CCA accounting managment". They are a collection agency. When I called them back, they said I owed $40 more than I really owed AT&T. I told them I had paid AT&T directly, and that ended the call. Do not deal with them. Deal with AT&T on your own.

- irRItatedI am temping at a local company and somehow a these people were able to leave a message with one of the receptionists for me. I never use the sites I temp as an employer and I haven't been here long enough to use the phone number for someone to find me.
Creepy that these people were able to find me since my technical employer is the agency.

If they keept calling I was told to tell them to send me paper work. ITS A SCAM and this comes straight from AT&T.

- Allen| 1 replyI too received a call from these clowns, they claim to be asset management company, they are a collections agency, they do have a website, they are now doing scam work for Sirius /XM radio. Beware if you have this radio service and have tried to cancel, Sirius is stating that these are disconnect charges and since you know nothing about it they send to collections. Try dealing with Sirius and its an hour and a half for those morons to hang up on you, good luck trying to call back and they always have computer glitches. As for this collection agency they contacted me by letter as well. If you get a letter stating that you can dispute their charges within thirty days otherwise they assume the debt is yours. This is a ploy to get you to answer them and then they get a verification of debt that is bogus and now they can legally come after you because they are trying to recover what they invested into your account while trying to collect.
I personally have imaculate credit history, and I will let these idiots try to collect from me since everytime they call its to "Attempt to collect a debt" Attempt being the key word! Beware of this scam and beware of Sirius satellite radio and their illegal practices.- Caller: EOS CCA

- Snake replies to AllenVerry interesting. I have just cancelled a Sirius/XM cantract due to non use of same. They have credited my account for the unused portion of the year.
Now I get this call from EOCCA saying that I owe money to E-bay from last May. B.S.
I have never defaulted on a legitimate purchase or contract. Why did E-bay not get in touch? Now that YOU have enlightened me to the XM connection, I will take it with a grain of salt and turn this over to the police investigations unit.
THANKS! - ellieI got a call for my 9 year old son, from this "EOSCCA" company asking me to verify his date of birth and address! I asked what for and they just said for a important business matter! I told the woman I would not because my 9 year old son doesn't have important business matter! I refused and asked for a supervisor, once the supervisor got on the phone the tone had turned from sweet to just plain ignorant! I explained my concern and still would not verify anything until I knew why they were calling, She told me that I was breaking federal law by not verifying his information! I still don't understand why they were calling!
I think its a just plain scam!- Caller: EOSCCA
