Got call from this number, it was indeed Fedex. They were following up on a package trace I'd requested.

It fedex for sure. I get these messages often.

It is FedEx - this is if you lost packages and report made through their online tracking or via phone- this # is also listed as their contact # on website if you need to contact them. I just had a problem w them- so that's how I can confirm.  This is their phone.

you immediately felt the need to look up a number when you knew who called you and why they called? Sounds to me like you are really one of the scammers using this number to steal money from people.

This number is FedEx, but it may be a scam anyway.  Whoever is calling does so illegally early or late, and leaves a msg telling me to call them back at another number which is listed online as a scam collection company... one of the ones which tells you to send money to repay debts that you may not even owe. I don't know if the collectors have hired someone at FedEx to moonlight for them, or just found a way to trick the caller I'd, but this is very fishy.

I think you are right, someone has spoofed the FedEx number. I'm getting calls illegally early/late, only once got a msg to call "FedEx"  back a different number... a number which is listed online as a scam collection agency.

You are WRONG, this is a fake number.  Not fedex.  SCAMMERS!  The real fedex number is 1-800-FEDEX...not 1-800-GOFEDEX...

I agree.  My husband & myself received several calls from this # on cell phones... No messages just missed calls. So I answered his phone.  They actually asked for a description of our vehicles in fhe driveway wanted to verify he was at home NOW to receive the package.  We live in a small town and all the FED EX drivers know us...why would they need this info to deliver the package?  In addition, they wouldn't tell me who the sender of the package was and hung up the phone...NOT FED EX...if u ask me...A SCAM!!!  With the # changed by an Android app!

It is genuine FedEx number..They calling regarding the package...So don't be alarmed..

FedEx Trace Dept. They called in response to a coworker who was trying to find a package that was never delivered.

got a recorded call from this number says FedEx, package requiring signature is coming tomorrow. Gave a tracking number but no way to have a repeat of the number. Call ended. Yes I am expecting 3 deliveries. None require a signature to my knowledge. Just checked status of those orders and no it's not any of those.

Earlier I received a text from some weird .com address saying package coming tomorrow from FedEx, need signature. I deleted it.

I've never gotten a call from FedEx saying package coming needs signature, they just show up with package and if a signature is needed and I'm not home they leave a note on door.

A third party company who told me they were calling on behalf of FedEx.  I asked: "why are you calling on behalf of FedEx, why aren't they calling me themselves?"  He basically said that FedEx is too busy to call their customers to find out how their service is.  Hey FedEx, if you're too busy to call me to ask me what I think of your service, then I'm too busy to respond to the third party questions.

I received a call today  2/28/2017 @ 1:20pm  the called ID read  1-800-G)-FEDEX   (1-800-463-3339). This number is legitimate and was actually FED-Ex telling my roommate that his package had arrived.

It is legitimate and yes it is FED EX

I got  a  call from fed X   at  5:37pm .....   I didn't answer !!!
