    They said they were H&R Block and it was urgent.  I did not give any information.  I called the local H&R Block office where I had my taxes done.  The local H&R Block office said I should not be getting phone calls from this 800 number, and they would investigate it.

    It really is H&R Block. I just spoke to them. They're explaining the problems caused with the education credit form and how long of a delay there may be.

    I got a call from this number today. They said it was H&R Block regarding a refund of my fees. They asked for my SS # and I reluctantly gave it to them.Now I'm worried becaue someone posted on he H&R block fb page that her mother got a similar phonecall asking for SS number and the same day someone started opening credit cards in her name. Should I worry ?
