I would think Schwab would be a bit more professional! Don't you? - Mass dudeThis actually is Schwab. Just got a call from them. Nevertheless, I'd advise never to call back a number that a financial firm leaves. Always start from scratch by looking up the number on the web. You can't go wrong that way.
- EdThis is a legit Charles Schwab number. To be on the safe side you can call the number on their website & the agent you get connected to can help you but it's not the same department.

- PamI just received a call at work from 800-492-9813 saying that Schwab and to contact Shannon Jones and note the reference #XXXXXXXX when calling back.
I never have had any dealings with Schwab.- Caller: Charles Schwab
- DaveI called Schwab on their 800-435-4000 number, which I have used in the past for trading, and the Schwab agent who answered was able to use the reference number #XXXXXXXX which I had received from the 800-472-9813 call to find the document referred to. The document was pertinent and fit into my timeline of events, and seems to require my response. So it seems legit.

- StefThey called us and left this number, so I called back at the number on their website. It wasn't an application verification, which the message and email had said, but a change of address verification. We had out in a request for that, and it is what was in their notes as to why they left the phone message and email, so it was legitimate in the end.

- ShannonCall came from 800-435-4000 but the message said to call her back at 800-472-9813. She said they have some questions about my recent application. However I did not submit any application to them and don't have any business with Charles Schwab.
