- I just received a call from 800-475-6112. It was an automated voice stating the call is coming from East Central Florida Outpatient Imaging in Orlando Florida.

- I did a little research and contacted a company that did imaging on me a while back. I asked about the automated call I received. They confirmed that East Central Florida Outpatient Imaging in Orlando Florida is a third party billing company (NOT collections) they use.

- My recommendation, if you are not familiar with a number that is calling you, 1. Do not answer, but research the number online to validate it, and 2. Listen to the message if any, and then to be on the safe side, contact the business via their customer service number that is located on their official website so you know it is indeed a legitimate number.

Just because the caller ID says what it does doesn’t make it legitimate! This is not a safe number! Especially in the greater Orlando area, where there are many top-notch hospitals, they are taking secondary numbers for healthcare facilities and using them to scam people. Do not call this number back!

Wanted me to give them my information but were unwilling to give me any information.   I want to know whom i am talking to and if they can't answer one simple question before we begin end of conversation.

We got a bill that we didnt recognize and this number was listed on bill. When calling this number, always busy signal...so called the hospital directly and they said it's scam.
