A little research points to Ashley Furniture, with whom we have a current order, but it called at 8 am and no one was there so I will be complaining.

Thank goodness I googled this number and found this...I placed an order at Ashley Furniture and the delivery was set for July 6th and this number has called me twice but when leaving a message, its blank. I just called the number and it was in fact Ashley Furniture and it was an operator wanting to confirm my delivery...glad I called, wonder what would have happened if I never called that number back

Your delivery would have been cancelled. They left message on my cell phone but when I am at home, I do not even look at my cell phone. So they cancelled the delivery. I have rec'd furniture deliveries from 4 other furniture stores and none of them required me to call them and confirm the delivery. The others just call and leave message with a 4 hour window. So it is a very good thing you called!

glad i googled it too ... i usually do when i dont recognize a number ... got a call early this morning, was not up to answer it, NO message was left ... if you have a scheduled ashley delivery, make sure you call this number back, its an automated system to "pre-confirm" your delivery date ... the system could at least leave a message!!

The same thing just happened to me! They called at 8:00 am or so, but the reception in my house is awful so I hung up, thinking they would call again. I'm glad I found this post!  I called back and was able to confirm my delivery, thank goodness!

This happened to me as well - this morning (Sunday) at 8:00 when I was outside. No message was left, and when I called back an automated response said they were closed today and to call back Monday-Saturday.  We were told they would call yesterday (Saturday) to confirm, so we waited all day but we never received the call.  Our delivery is set for Monday (tomorrow), but now that I missed their call at a day/time I wasn't expecting, and was not able to return the call because they are closed today, will my shipment be cancelled - after I took off work to be here for it!?  We shall see..

They've apparently learned; the robot does now leave a message (as of a few minutes ago) explaining what is going to happen and inviting you to call back if you want to reschedule.

They called me early this morning, I answered and there was no one there. I gave plenty of time for a recording to even kick in just in case.  I wasn't going to call back figuring it was just a telemarketer but I'm so glad I looked up what the number was!! Would not have been happy with my order being canceled that's for sure....

Received a text message claiming to be Ashley HomeStore, letting me know that a delivery is scheduled.  It was a group message also sent to a number in Southern California, and in Wisconsin.  I am not a customer of Ashley, but it's possible that a customer gave them the wrong number.

Glad I found this too. Their caller ID only says "800 Service" and I just assumed it was telemarketing. Then they called at 8am which made me doubt it was telemarketing as telemarketers never call that early. I'm all set for my delivery!

Same thing happened to us. They called at 10:45 a.m. and no one was home to answer. The caller ID was just a string of five numbers and they didn't leave a message. They called again today, and thank goodness my sister was home and answered anyway. The furniture was supposed to be delivered yesterday, but because no one answered yesterday, the delivery had to be rescheduled for Friday. The fact that the caller ID didn't say who it was is very off-putting, to say the least.

I have repeatedly gotten calls, for months, saying they have something to deliver, something to give, a repair to pick up etc. They, several different people, leave a message for someone's name I can't understand.  I've tried blocking this number but somehow they are able to still leave vm. 1800 -477 -0007

That is because "blocking" does not make it impossible for someone at the "blocked" number to call you.  All "blocking" does is stop your phone from ringing and transfer the call to voicemail.
