800-477-1529

Number did not call me, but it is printed on a postcard I got in the mail.
I've noticed similar postings on this site with the same "promotion", but with a different 800-number.

Details of the card:
Front: "IT'S YOURS. Complements of us! Call today, pick it up Tomorrow Your Brand new Touchpad Tablet!
(800) 477-1529"

Reverse: "Dear [Name]
Congratulations! Our promotional department has scheduled you to receive a Touchpad Tablet Computer with new Android Software! Call today, and you will also receive a complimentary Polaroid Digital Camera!
To claim this special offer, simply call for details 1-800-477-1529"

I got the same Post Card.  Reads exactly the same! It screams of SCAM ALERT, scams that want you to call by offering prizes to collect information that may lead to Identity Theft, NOTHING is for FREE! It should be considered False Advertising, where is the FTC putting a stop to all the unsolicited phone calls to those of us on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY and allowing companies to mail out Nonsense that is good for one thing, A SCAM on the AMERICAN PEOPLE. I wonder how ANDROID & POLAROID feel about them using their BRAND NAME on the card. Do they Approve? Do they want to be associated with Companies that seem to have no IDENTITY or with what seems to be a Hidden AGENDA. I know it will make me think twice about using their products. Do those companies have our best interests in mind?

Only a Fool would reply to a post card with no REAL COMPANY NAME. Its the same for the companies that have a computer calling our home phone number and there is a pause or lapse of time before someone speaks, AMERICA, just hang up!

If someone does call, please let us know what we missed out on!

Just got the same card but instead of Polaroid it has $200.00 restaurant gift certificate. Polaroid must have caught up with them.  :)
