Got a call from FSBO Property Solutions asking if I was interested in selling some property in Arkansas.  I said yes and was told I would get a call back.  Received a call from Robert Hurlburt saying they had a developer interested in buying lots in the area.  I was offered four times what I paid for it.  I just needed to pay $750 for a portfolio fee.  When I expressed concern that this was a scam, he directed me to the BBB website.  I put in FSBO Property Solutions with the address 3350 Ulmerton Rd Ste 10, Clearwater, FL 33762-3313.  It came up with an A- rating and no complaints.  I asked how long the company had been in business and he said 12 or 13 years but the BB site is only 3 years old.  I told him I needed to go and would get back with him later.  I looked closer on the BBB site at FSBO Property Solutions and noticed it said it had been in business since 2/12/2009 and that the BBB filed had only been opened since 5/3/2012.  So the A- rating appears to only be based on 2 months of data.  When I did a reverse search for the same address, I came up with Premier Property Services that has an F rating.  I did internet searches for Premier Property Services and have come up with a multitude of scam warnings.  Sounds like they're getting a fresh start with a new name.

Got a call from Robert Hurlburt using the local number 727-576-6100 about an investor wanting to buy my lot in AZ. He gave me the same 800-477-4248 number. Always suspect about upfront money on a credit card.
    He's also a fast talker.

Got the same call, same proposition. The guy is a real fast talker. Kept tying to convince me that the $750 deposit was "necessary" to ensure that we would sell. Even offered me a veteran discount of $100. Said the deposit would cover their costs in the event we backed out at the last minute. I also checked out the BBB. Not impressed. You don't pay a buyer to buy your home.

No, it's called shilling because shills don't reveal they are connected to the scammer... er, I mean party making the offer, and receive compensation for posting false info.

John Small is likely a shill for this scam. No one should pay money up front before the property is sold.

What sense does it make for liannen to pay for advertising when Robert Hurlburt has a buyer willing to buy liannen's property for 4X her price? Advertising is only needed when there are no buyers in hand. if you have to shill, please shill convincingly.
