800-477-7555

This is a new an divisive kind of scam.  The caller left a message on our business line stating that they were "Amazon" and they needed to verify the purchase of an $799.00, iPhone 11.  "Please call 800 277-1937 to verify the purchase of an iPhone 11."  I called back knowing full well that this was a scam and I pressed "zero to speak with an agent."
When "James" (with a thick east Indian accent) came on the line, he asked me if I had ordered an iPhone 11.  I told him that, "yes," I had just ordered an iPhone 11 from Amazon.  "James" was astounded as that was obviously NOT the answer that he was expecting.   Sadly, "James" instantly disconnected the call.  I will wait a while and call the number back and tell the "agent" that I had NOT ordered a iPhone 11.  Obviously, they will ask for a CC # or other personal information.  Will report back if there is anything further.
