This number called both my cell and internet numbers at the precise same moment and is an invalid number, so it must be someone who overcame the system in order to cause trouble

Caller allegedly from Microsoft Services says he's getting many complaints from customers that my computer is infecting them.
I let him go on muttering computer lingo , ip addresses and so forth. He insisted I be real sure who I'm talking to so I asked him his id number which was 5665, from Microsoft Services. When asked where he was based out of , he pretended he couldn't hear my end of the conversation and hung up  LOL!

Don't let them take control of your computer, that was his ultimate goal.   FRAUD   but there is no such drop down box in Call Type

Ransomware scammers ripped me off for $300,
Talked me into granting them remote access to my computer, the ipad was frozen not the computer. After giving them CC number they sabatoshed the computer; removed boot drivers from Imac computer, now it wont boot.
Sold some fake malware, and support.

How it happened: Received popup on I-pad, Ipad froze up. Virus detected! Call this number bla bla bla...  Total off shore scammers. The real fix is to turn on airplane mode, go into Safari settings, delete history, reboot normal. This popup runs a javascript in safari that is an endless loop giving the appearance that the device is frozen. Never call a number from a popup.
