Got a post card supposedly and appeared to be from Home Depot for a $25 Home Depot gift card.  The number to call is 800-480-6887.  This is a scam.  Checked Home Depot website and there's a big warning about this scam.

I just got one as well but it doesn't say from Home Depot. I just moved and it says, "Welcome to your new home!"

I got one with the same number, but it's for an Amazon gift card.  I didn't call.

I received a $25 welcome to your new home amazon gift card. Asks to call 800-480-6887.

I received a post card from this number for Home Depot. Man answered “Customer Care”, doesn’t give his name or business he works for. Listened to the pitch stating that they come out to the home and do a water test which would take an hour. He mentioned if we wanted to go forward both homeowners would have to be present and they could schedule anytime until 7pm… this is in Nevada not sure if they do this type of scam in other states.

Just moved to a new home and received this card.  "Welcome to your new home you are selected and are entitled to receive a free Home Depot gift card for $50

Oops!  Hit submit to soon.  From the above comments I believe this is a scam.   I'm shredding it.    I have received a few other cards with similar gift card offers.   All have been shredded

This is very probably a "water testing" come-on where you get a high pressure sale for some overpriced water treatment item - very common to new home buyers.
