This is a number registered to DIRECT TV. I am currently on the DO NOT CALL list & I have answered the calls a few times over the 3 years they have called - telling them to put me on their own "Do Not Call" list directly and they still CONTINUE TO VIOLATE THE LAW!!! No problem - I just keep on filing FTC reports on them – I will NEVER SIGN UP WITH DIRECT TV BECAUSE OF THIS!!! These people are really stupid!!!

One, look up what the DNC actually covers
Two, someone might be spoofing the number
Three, DirecTV could care less if you don't sign up-plenty of people will, which offsets what you're doing by not going with them

Recd call on landline. CID "toll free call"; did not answer and they didnt leave message.

AT&T and Directv do not make outbound soliciting calls. This is a scammer spoofing Directv’s caller-id number. They are also spoofing the support number as well. Do not answer and block it. If you call AT&T and Directv number they will confirm they do not make outbound solicitation calls. This is a scammer, taking advantage of At&t.They will also claim they have your account number, which is false. Do not give them any information! Do not let them bait you for information!

Robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) do this all the time, and they often spoof their numbers to cover their tracks while carrying out the criminal activity of seeking gullible schmucks to victimize.

I called number back on cell because I can block...it is Direct TV....I hung up

Spoofed number = criminal intent. Blocked.

I have never been a DirecTV customer and my cell phone is on the DNC list. Pure spam.

Cell CID was Unknown.  I guess if it really was Direct TV than their phone number would state such on CID??  I will just go with what everyone above is saying and that it is probably a spoofed number.  Blocking is so much easier than worrying about it

Phone rang once, then was stopped by my robocall  blocker.  .

Called me without leaving VM. No caller ID. Listed as "Scam Likely" by my carrier.

Caller ID said “unknown caller,” so I didn’t answer.  No message left.
