    During my call from this phone number i was able to determine that it is a valid American Express Remediation Team phone number.

    No, it is an American Express number that has been hacked.  I just spoke with American Express and they are investigating.  Do not call them back with any information.

    They asked for my SSN and date of birth.  Told me it was for a LOWES business account card that I had applied for which I had. No sure if I will be Identity theft because of all the questions they asked.
