    They say they are from Verizon, but I asked them to fax the info to me and the fax looks very sketchy.

    I dealth with them. Cannot get a return call.  Many unauthorized charges on my new bill.  I would stay away from them. Am in the process of filing a complaint against them

    Number s from Tele Source (or variant spelling) .  Sales person was Ms Toni Trill.  They said they were sub-contractors to Verizon and were 'up-dating' my system.  Wouldn't cost anything, etc.  I received a letter , coincidently , the same day from Verizon re: updating my system.  I called Verizon - they never heard of them - told me to stay clear AND to check my bill for the next few months to see if there were any changes.  I asked Verizon to put a block on my service to authorize NO changes.  

    Seemed like Tele Source is aware of Verizons mass mailing and is taking advantage of the timing - same wording, benefits, etc.

    They, Verizon, were not interested in taking any of the information - name, phone number, etc., for the incident.  Thanks for the help to your loyal customers!!

    They say they're calling on behalf on Verizon.  Everyday I tell them the owner is not available.  I've asked them to remove our phone number.  I told them the owner would deal with Verizon but not them.  Doesn't matter what you say, they don't stop calling!

    Received call from 800-497-1193 on 12/2/10. Salesperson's name was Demetrios Moore (female?). Caller wanted to speak to the person authorized to handle the Verizon account, which was not me, so I took a message. Message was regarding a new program called "Solutions for Business," which if enrolled in would save company 15-20% on business accounts.

    Salesperson did NOT say he/she was from an authorized sales agent etc. He/she said she was calling from Verizon.

    Sounded too good to be true.  My boss instructed me to call the # back for more information. When I called, I got a recording saying "Thank you for calling Tal-Source (sp?), an authorized sales agent for Verizon." Surprise surprise. I hung up.

    I spoke to a sales person, she told me her name was Ashley. She offered my the bundle line - unlimited package for my four lines. She stated very clearly that I would get national unlimeted callings for my lines, plus my bill would go down. So I signed up for the service.  My bill went from $288.00 to $403.00. I tried to call them serveral times (800-497-1193) and I always get directed to a voicemail. They NEVER return the phone calls. And the worse case is that Verizon directs you to talk to their manager, Craig Sehr (727-550-5073), but again, he NEVER picks up the phone call.
    My advise is NEVER trust Telesource, they just want your money!!!

    if you get get a call from Tel source 1-800-497-1193 do not believe them. I have spoke with Verizon this am and Verizon did not authorize them to call. You might want to think about putting a 3rd party block on your line so if you by chance go along with them that they will not get access to your account. I have received a few calls in 2 days from this company and many of others.

    This is not Verizon.  Do not give them your information!  They have called many times.  I called Verizon directly and they said that Tel Source is not affiliated with them.  Verizon told me to contact the Better Business Bureau.

    I received a call on Monday from Rachel Gilmore who said it was Verizon calling and they were up-dating their accounts with a new way of billing.  They were bundling now which would save us money.  She started talking about internet and I told her we had internet thru Comcast and didn't need it.  She continued to say that we didn't have to use it if we still wanted to keep Comcast, but it would save us money.  I questioned her several times about the billing, etc. and she kept insisting that it was Verizon and they were updating the system.  She caught me offguard at a very hetic time in the office and I was only half listening and even though it just didn't feel right, I was taken by the scam.  After thinking about it later that day and night, I knew something wasn't kosher.  I kept trying to call the number she left and all I could get was a recording saying I had reached Tel Source who was an authorized sales representative of Verizon and to leave a message for the account representative I wished to speak with and a name and number for them to return the call.   Needless to say, I never heard from them.   I also called Verizon and they weren't of much help only to check to see if any orders had been place to change service and to tell me that if I received any equipment in the mail to refuse it and send it back and then to call them immediately to make sure any order they received was cancelled.

    Something needs to be done to stop this blatant deception to people.  They are fraudently misleading people and some of us have a moment of stupidity and fall for it.  If anyone else has had these problems, please let me know.  If you have filed any complaints, please let me know with whom you filed them.

    You can file a complaint with your State. Google your state's regulator analysis division. For Florida it's called RAD. I was contacted by a Sharetta at (800) 497-1193 who said she was from Verizon. She is not from Verizon and is misrepresenting them. She told me my agreement was up and she had a special offer. My agreement was not up as I had just renewed it 8/10/10 and was good for 12 months. If you want to see if your phone company has better rates, just call them directly. Do not EVER agree to anyone who calls you on the phone. All offers must be in writting before any agreement should be made.

    You can file a complaint with the Regulatory Analysis division (RAD) in Tallahassee, Fl. They have helped me in the past.

    I just got a phone call from 800-497-1193, and pretty much had the same experience as what everyone else has been describing on this thread. The woman who called me, a "Mrs. Stephens," was pretty rude and very pushy. She wanted me to sign up for a bundle account that would give us unlimited phone and free internet for a huge discount to what we are paying now. I told her I had to check with my manager, so she gave me the 800 number to call back and leave her name.
    When I called the number back, I got the same message everyone is saying, Tel-Source, or whatever.
    I'm glad I didn't give her any of my account information, but what a waste of my time.

    just called me and came through caller id as unknown.  That was my 1st tip off to problems.  Next, she was very anxious to get a deal done ASAP.  I asked for a number and name to call back after I checked my account info and 10 minutes later they called back and the person claimed to be the same person i spoke with 10 minutes ago but totally different voice.  Bad business!!

    They called me yesterday- Christopher Smith was his name. said he was calling from Frontier and they had a new plan to bundle and lower my bill. would include unlimited long distance, 5 calling features and DSL. I pressed him about who he worked for- he said TeleConcepts.  He said the cost would be 61.99 When I asked about taxes and fees, he said that they had no control over what fees the government would charge. I asked who the bill would come from he said Frontier-
    I had been scammed by something similar years ago so I was skeptical. I did not sign up- i told the guy that I would check them out and if I was interested I would call him back-
    I will NOT be calling him back and I am going to block his number- I am glad this site was here.

    Glad I looked at this site.  Some lady LaShonda Rabotte just called and I had her fax me the information.  It looked sketchy so I searched and found this page.  She promised me that this was absolutley legitimate and she would never risk her job over making false statements.  Looking forward to her return phone call later today!
