    This is a call from 'MedAssist'. My infant had blood work done in the ER of our local hospital (it was closer than the children's hospital that we had just left 24 hours earlier) and for some reason they didn't run our insurance. MedAssist is basically just a glorified medical collection agency. The hospital turned us over to them before we even got a bill. BTW: The bill was paid by our insurance when the billing department actually submitted it to them.
