    I received a call from 800-497-4220 and the caller claimed to be from KCPL - Kansas City Power & Light.  Wanted payment in cash or power would be shut off.  I contacted KCPL directly, there was no payment due and no pending power shut off.  The caller was willing to take a credit card payment - but really wanted cash taken to a Dollar General or other retail store.  Don't fall for this!

    Received a call from 1-800-497-4220 saying it was Consumers Energy and my power would be shut off within 30 minutes if my past due bill was not paid. My bill is current and I owe nothing! SCAM!!!
