they call and wanted to record the conversation and wanted to "verify" my social security number. yeah right! I asked specifically what they did and they refused to answer. I also refused to have them record my conversation and they insisted on verifying me. They claimed there was an "important matter" to discuss with me which im sure its not true. Eventually I asked to be removed from their call list and they said "ok" So i am sure it was a telemarketer or something like that.

Let the call go to voice mail - Said it was "Rob Coleman" from Capital Services.  Asked for myself and/or husband (by name) and gave the name of our ex-son-in-law's brother, and said he had given us as a reference (uh-huh...had his name, but very doubtful that happened).  Gave the same number that called and a reference number.  I did not call back.  Has SCAM written all over it.

Capital Management Services is NOT a scam; however, it is a legitimate collection agency. You may not want to answer their calls.

CMS is NOT a legitimate agency.  They are scumbags who get a 10-year old credit report; and try and intimidate people into paying them for items that have already been paid off or been written off in bankruptcy.  Report them immediately to the FCC.

They just called me and stated they wanted me to verify information when I told the woman "Kay" is the only way she wouldn't identify herself further or tell me what it was in regard to. this has SCAM written all over it BEWARE!!!

These people are calling me about a bill in bankruptcy.  I have told them to stop calling me and that I am turning them in.  They have told my 'business' to an old boyfriend which is illegal... I am contacting my bankruptcy attorney to see about a lawsuit.
