This number keeps calling me. When I answer, the line is silent. When I call it, there is no answer, just never ending hold music.

This number kept appearing on my telephone's caller i.d. window. I finally answered the call. I asked who it was and said that I formally requested to be taken off their call list. The man on the line said that he was "not calling off a call list." He said he was "calling off your credit card, dumb ass." Then he hung up.

i just started receiving phone calls from this number yesterday. they called once yesterday, and twice today. they hung up as i picked up today, and they only let it ring twice the second time they called. when i called the number back there was never-ending music, as the other poster said.

yes same thing.... calls from this number, 4 times a day - rings once on my cell, no real person. Must be bot of some sort. If i call back, neverending muzak. I'm going to find out where this is coming from and put a stop to it TODAY

I have recieved close to 24 phone calls in the last 5 days. When I call back it is just call music. I have NO CLUE who it could be!!!!

I am recieving multiple calla a day, when i pick up no one answers, when i try calling back no one answers. Does any one know who this Goober is?

I think if you are anoyed by this person calling, get on a land line or wait for you free min on you cell and call this person, stay on hold FOR EVER, this number is free to call for us but cost this person by the miinute.

I got a call today and they asked for my husband by name!?!?! I asked who he was and he said that my number had been entered in some sort of "publishers Drawing" for a 1000.00 shopping card? He also mentioned something about being based out of Hamilton, Montana. I dont know what the hell this is about and this is my private cell phone number, so I dont know how he even got it. I'm pretty pissed.

Received 5 calls from these number. When I called them a never ending music starts. I then decided to answer one of their calls and received a message to press 1 to save on Health Insurance. I hung up and have not received more calls so far.

pain in the ass....second time today and got a similar call last week from a different number...

same here starting calling and hanging up. I did once talk to someone and told them to take me off a list. I think they got my number off of craigslist. Soon after I put an ad there I started receiving calls.

Calls, no answer when I pick up. When I call back it plays oboe.

Called me for the first time today....repeatedly, so I decided to see where the rabbit hole went...

it's a magazine distribution company, apparently in business with major credit cards. They hook you with offers of "free" vacations and a chance to win some vast sum of money. this is all before they get to their final sales pitch of subscribing you to like 5 magazines, then eventually will ask you for your credit card number and basic information....this is where I stopped.

they said they got my number FROM my credit card company (Wells Fargo/Visa) which I find to be a little ridiculous since Visa and Wells Fargo (my bank) have very strict privacy policies.

The good news is, I talked to a real person, not a machine, which means...don't answer, and eventually they will stop calling...I think....I hope...

if anyone else has info on this company, apparently called SMT (forgot what it stands for), please post it up.
