It's plenty believable, why would criminals care about time, day, age, health, laws, or lists? Where they're calling from, it could be 12 hours ahead, and within business hours in India. Lots of times these calls will have nothing to say, it's a computer call looking for numbers that have answers and possibly times they can get a live voice. That way it can be passed on to other crooks so they'll know when to bother you, too. No kind of answer means nothing for the callers and if you're able to without missing any important calls, turn off the ringer or disconnect the line for a landline.

It was a garbled message about tracking some shipment. I suspect a usual information collecting robo call.

    Hello and welcome to Moviephone
Sprint saying my account has been flagged. I needed to provide my PIN number. I didn't provide it. They've called 5 times in a row in a matter of 3 minutes.

800-504-3030 is a scam.. They called me 13 times after 10 pm, left no message, and when I finally picked up a recording said that they were from SPRINT and that I must provide my passcode.  They are now blocked.

If you're able, turn off your machine and let the phone ring. They don't care what time or day it is, how old you are, or your health. The calls continue because YOU give them some kind of answer. They're not after leaving messages, rather a live voice. Voicemail is still an answer and an invitation for calls to continue.

Got a call during the day. Said they where from AT&T (recording) and my account was flagged for security purposes. They asked me to put in the last 4 digits of my social. I hung up of course. A lot of people do not. I never give any part of my social out unless I call the number or I know the people calling. I.E. I'm waiting for a call back. And even then I ask questions about what the call is for.

Called saying the AT&T account has been flagged and asked me to enter the plan holder's last 4 SSN digits... All the while the automatic message was breaking up as it was playing. Don't trust it since some others have said the number claimed to be from Sprint as well and also, if you enter a mobile number into a search, you can easily find out what network that phone number is connected to.
