I got the same call but at work; are they a collection service

They called and stated who I worked for and the person I work for is pretty high up...almost threatening that they would call my boss if I don't call them back.  Told me they could really use my help and that I they know I work for the CFO.

Same case here... I didn't call them back. God enough of those guys hassling me already

I got the same call, Clarence Williams ext 1212 asked if I was the controller and I said I was the A/R manager, he hung up. Then I checked my voicemail and had a msg from the same guy asking me to call him. I called the number and he wouldn't tell me why he had called. WEIRD.

I got the same call at my work. I believe they are a collection agency I am going to send them a letter to cease all contact. By law they must stop calling your work or any other number you request them not to call.

They are a Collection Agency called Goldman, Imani & Goldman out of Houton, TX. Some of them are very rude.

I received a call this morning from Clarence Williams with GIG Inc, asking me to call back to 800-504-6117 x1515
- the voice prompt said it was Goldman, Imani & Goldman
- he didnt leave details for me, so I left a message saying he could call me back from my caller ID

We have been receiving phone calls from this phone number, a man named Calrence Williams.  He called our company back several times saying he was a different person...what he doesnt know is that we have caller id.  This is a corporate office that he is calling and harrassing.  This needs to STOP!  One person in our office attempted to call back to see why he was harrassing our receptionist.  Well, he said that it was a mistake, ummm, calling about ten times in one day, that is hardly a mistake.  This will continue to be reported and if it gets out of hand further action will be taken.  I think that this person may want to think about the consequences of harrassing someone.

got the same call claiming he was an investigator and had the information about the money that was owed to ME...    I don't have any money owed to me, though.

This guy's name was Jim something....  at ext 3636   He said his name and company name so fast I couldn't understand it at all...

obviously a scam or collection agency looking for someone with my same last name or something....

800-504-6117 is Goldman, Imani & Goldberg Inc.. They lie about things like we told them to call back 6 months ago to collect on uncollected accounts for our company.
We would never and have never done that, so people that have to lie and scam you in order to do business is already showing that they are not to be trusted.  ****WARNING****  SCAMMERS

They also use 713 395 5120 - Some lady that doesn't speak English well enought to understand her.

They are also calling me and harrassing me at my work.  Does anyone know how to request that they remove your work number from their numbers?  Its embarrasing to continually get calls at my work place when I am supposed to be the leader in my area.  Please help.....anyone!

All you have to do is tell them to stop calling your place of work, they have to comply otherwise they are breaking federal laws.

Jim Wolf... he's borderline (or maybe crossing the line) inappropriate when he calls us. We've already told him no thank you but he keeps calling.

Came across Jim Wolf recently! He was quit pleasant and nice!But I also found out that the are a few other Jim Wolfs that are fake!
They worked for a competitor and tried to recruit him and when  he refused to work for them! They promised to smear him!
It sucks to know that cyber smearing and Bullying are alive and well in today's cyber world! it could happen to you too!

Is attempting to trick anyone reading this thread that when a scammer like one of them calls, its ok to answer. These shills always act like the calls did wonderful things for them, so you believe it will happen to you too.  They are telling you lies about their calls because they want you to let them try scamming you.

Receptionist posted on 5 Feb 2015 so its highly unlikely that person will ever see your reply.  Guess your planning on using this number again to scam and dong some damage control in advance?
