Said I've won a prize from Grand Sweepstakes Giveaway. yeahh- right!

I've received the same phone call.  The actual number the comes up on the caller ID is 708-808-3205, but they refer you to call back to 800-504-6196.  I have never and will never enter any contests.

Called said that I have won a prize in a contest sometime during lst year to win a Lincoln Navigator. Called the # - they asked for my name, and someone would call me back.

Caller left msg that I have won a Lincoln Navigator, call 800-504-6196 to claim prize. Did not call them. Feb 2008.

I've read about several other "winners" on others postings too.

Got a similar message from the 'Prize Distribution Center'...My Caller ID showed 'Out Of Area' but with the phone number of 312-625-5531. Told me  I won a Lincoln Navigator...Funny that t\I got a call on my cellphone last year about winning a Ford Explorer !  Anyway was told to call the Grand Sweepstakes Giveaway at 800-307-0294 and of course no one is available (no one ever is) and to leave your name and number  (yeah right)!
Why can't the goverment prosecute these scam artists!  What a waste of everyone's time !

Received a message on my voice mail to call Bill at the Prize Distribution Centre at 1-800-504-6196. He said that I entered a draw for a Lincoln Navigator in the last year, the contest is closed, and he had some good news for me. I do enter lots of contests and I wonder if that may be how he got my phone number? However nothing about this call seem legitimate. He did not state my name or that of anyone in the house that may have entered that contest; first clue this was a scam. Second, call notifications in Canada are more detailed and usually include the phrase "You are a potential winner" since we have to answer a skill testing question to qualify. This is a great service to check phone numbers, from all of the other entries, I'll pass on calling back. If it was a legitimate win, they usually try up to three times to contact the winner or otherwise specified in the contest rules before they disqualify the winner and move to the runner up. I' wait to see if Bill calls back.

I got the same call from the name Bill regarding the Lincoln Navagator as well.  I called the # and got a recording asking for my name and phone #.  I would not leave any information on the voice mail.  I did not enter a contest regarding a car.

Received a call from "Bill" of Prize Distribution Centre that I'd entered a contest to win a Lincoln Navigator sometime in the past year and he was holding my "winning" entry from in his hand.  I should call him back - and again, "congratulations".  Call received at 7:05pm on Feb 12 08

I receved the same call feb 18 08 . They sure have lots of cars to give away. Hmmm, if something looks to good and sounds to good it usually is to good to be true.

I received a call on 02/28/08 stating I had won a Lincoln Navigator. The name on my caller ID was David Johnson, phone # was 708-808-3204. The 1-800-# to call back was 1-800-821-3984. Did not call back.

Same thing happened to me said his name was Bill and to call 1-800-996-0081

I received a call from 773-486-3053, caller ID says Browns Comm.  female asked for me, my wife said I was eating dinner.  when we hung up, they called again, and left a message for me to call to win the lincoln navigator.  I called back, Bill's recording said to leave my name and number and he would call me back in 5 minutes.  Don't know what could happen if I do leave my info, but my instinct was telling me to just hang up.  does anyone know if i leave my info if i am putting myself in any potential situation that could harm me?

Got a call on March 2, Sunday, at 459PM.  Caller ID said 865-329-7871.  They said: My nam is Matt, blah blah... Prize Notification Center...blah blah...good news!  You won a Linclon Navigator.... blah blah... call Michelle as son as possible at 800-504-6196.

Will let you know what's up after we talk to these scam artists.

Got a call at 8:14 am est. on march 7th. From Alex at the prize Distribution center. I let the machine pick it up. He said I had won a Lincoln Navigator and to call Michelle Bentley at 1800-821-3984. Called, got no answer, asked for Name, number, and state. My Number is on the do not call list.

I also received this call, multiple times.  Once from a Bill recording, then a female called.  I talked with her and she wanted martial status, and other personal information.  Recognizing that this was a scam, refused to answer any questions and she hung up.  Today, I received the call from a Jeff.  The call came from a different number - 312-962-0076 asking me to call a different toll-free number 866-818-8040. However, the message was the exact same.

I would recommend reporting them to the Federal Trade Comission.

Received a message from the  prize distribution center. Said I won a Lincoln Navigator, the sweepstakes was "Grand Sweepstakes Giveaway."  Did not mention my name, but said his was Alex.  Told me to call 800-821-3984 and ask for Michelle Bentley.  The number they called from was 312-962-0227. I did not call back.....figured since I entered no sweepstakes that it was a scam.

Message on a Sunday night @ 9:30. Callers name was Matt and advised that the call is concerning a Sweepstakes that I entered for a Ford Explorer - the contest was now closed and he has some very good news for me. I was asked to call Michelle (Prize Director) at 1-800-504-6196...

Since he didn't announce the name of the person that needs to call (the person named on the ticket) and the fact that I don't recall ever entering a sweepstakes - it raised a few red flags... Called number anyway (I was curious on what they'd say) and got an answering machine advising that there are no Directors available and that if I leave my name, number and the state that I'm calling from, they'd call back... Didn't leave a message...

Received a message from the  prize distribution center. Said I won a Lincoln Navigator, the sweepstakes was "Grand Sweepstakes Giveaway."  he did not mention my name and told me to call 800-821-3984 and ask for Michelle Bentley. After seeing these posts i dont think ill be calling. i got the call march 12.

Same thing happened to me.  Got a call saying I won a Ford Explorer.  But I didn't enter any contests.  My wife wanted me to call back but I decided to do a quick search on the 1-800 number and got this site.  Thanks to everyone for their posts.  I'm definitely not going to call them back.
