Here's an idea... call the business you are doing business with, if your are not doing business the way your are supposed to be doing business. And then the business your have the business with, will not have to spend "extra fees" (like time spent and phone call fees) to reach someone that is not doing business as agreed.  Your actions are a product of the calls and texts.  Handle your business and the business will adjust to your situation.

Let them know your planning on paying and they won't have to call you.

Rhonda, the person you talked to may have been rude, please don't generalize. All companies have some bad apples and try to weed them out.  Call in and explain the situation. A wrong # is a wrong # I’m sure they can accommodate.

I don't have a loan with Wells Fargo Auto Finance...and I never have. But somehow, they are calling not me...but my parents' house...to get ahold of me for issues on an auto loan. I called them back, and the person I spoke with said that they had the wrong person. Then they called my parents AGAIN a few days later, and indicated that my Dad was a cosigner on my (non-existent) loan?????

Is this really even Wells Fargo? Or some scam company phishing for personal information? Their phone system says Wells Fargo, but is it really them? They asked my mom for her social security number >.>

Just a reminder to everyone to NEVER give out personal or financial information over the phone to anyone that you didn't initiate a call to.

I am sure you are current on your loan and that is why they call you everyday. You are probally talking ABOUT CLOSING DOWN your overdrawn check account, damn what a loss that would be. . So go ahead and refiance  your upside loan and roll it into a pt cruiser and  get that 2% intrest rate you deserve.

I bet you wear a tie to keep the foreskin from slipping up over your head.

I just got this new phone number and the same day I started getting calls from this number: 1-800-511-1812. I told them I wasn't the person they were looking for and that I just got this new number. The calls stopped for a week then it started again. Then they would call from other numbers. I finally got angry and said I wasn't the guy they were looking for and to never call me again, remove my number, etc.. The lady on the other end told me she has this number and tried to get me to say I was lying about who I was.

I reported the incident to the BB and my local Attorney General's office for business violations under the fair credit act...not sure if that helps me but I figured any report is better than nothing.

They keep calling my new cell phone and asking for someone who i guess used to have this number. i have told them 5 times they have the wrong number but they still keep calling!

I'm co-signed on a loan and they have called me when the payment was one day late. They have harrassed me. They have harrassed my parents when they told them that I was away. Michigan has a no harrassment law- it's time that someone should sue the company. They go beyond harrassing. I've caught them in lies several times. They have said that they have talked to me when they haven't, they said that payments were coming out of my bank account from a bank that I have no account with. (All payments have been made from the person that I co-signerd for.) I tell them that I have to talk to person that I co-signed the loan for and they continue to harrrass and threaten to do something to my credit. I'm done dealing with anyone that will lie to me. I cannnot believe anything that comes from anyone that lies and I HATE LIARS!

You are the ones that waste money. You harrass people and don't listen to what they say to you. Stop the harrassment!  And no she shouldn't have to give any nmumbers of her social security number. You should have your information correct and not stop the lies that you tell people. I will not deal with someone that lies to me. Your company does not listen to the truth and lies to the people that they get in touch with. You belong placed in a cell where you can have no contact with other people.

Here's an idea...quit pasting the same lame defense for you and your colleagues. You can complain about people you think are wasting your time but they're keeping YOU employed. Quit posting here and go make some more phone calls, parasite.

I work at home and this number has been calling multiple times per day, every day, for weeks. I don't answer blocked numbers, but it interrupts my work. I'm surprised to see here that it's WellsFargo auto loan. We don't have any dealings with them and all household cars are paid off... I tried to call them back to tell them to stop/wrong number, but I can't get through, even though THEY called ME no less than six times today... If this isn't illegal, it ought to be; they are driving me crazy!

Wells Fargo is very ignorant.  They call you immediately after your payment is only one day late.  If you tell them you will pay them, it still does not prevent the harassing calls.  Someone even called my phone at 10pm.  When I called to complain to a supervisor, he said there were not any notes showing i received a call.  Word of advice; do not use their service if you can help it.  Their employees are not professional at all!!
