You have to cancel your credit card. This is a well-documented scam. There is no legal remedy. These criminals are making a huge fortune, and no one is interested in stopping them.

I ordered two books over the internet at DiscountBookSales, received e-mail that they were "out of stock", discovered 4 $1.00 charges on my card, found out I was a new book club member, made a call to SmartSavingCenter 800 number that was ineffective, cancelled order and membership over phone supposedly, had bad words with person on phone, she didn't like being called a thief and fraud, cancelled credit card because it was compromised and had new one issued, received books after cancel, called or e-mailed asking for a mailed billing and said I would pay for the two books and shipping, was told they only worked through credit cards, would NOT give them a credit card number and still owe them for two books, guess I am ahead of their game so far.

they got ME too! for a Christian DVD! 12.02 to 19.95! The lady, said I had joined their "optional 3-day trial" .... to get this 5.00 ....blah blah blah ..... Grrrr

No longer receive phone calls, but they are constantly trying to get money from an account I had on a Visa pre-paid card that I used for online purchases for computer software.I too was told that my "so called"subscription was cancelled.I have since purchased a new card,and they can never receive payment for something I didn't want in the first place.

cancel ur card.. it's the only way to guarantee....  they will refund 2 mths.  They have stolen almost $900 from my acct
