I receive a call a day from this number and have also rec'd a call from Lana herself, same "mo"  as the rest of you.  I let them all go to voice mail so that if ever anyone can get a successful class action law suit against this fraud I have evidence.

I had a phone call with an urgent message asking to be called back because an Andrea Trotty gave an investigator my phone number as a contact and that I needed to call her, Erika Carter, ASAP. She did not give her name and said she would have the "investigator" call me back to answer my questions. The only info I found out was that it was supposedly a legal case and that she was in Texas.

Did you report this to anybody?

I'm in Colorado and received a call from Lana Carter and she stated the last four number of my SSN stating there is a case field at her office and I must call her back immediately otherwise she will take my silence as an acceptance of this case. She did not sounds as some one from the county or even a law office. No proper language at all.

I received a call this morning saying it was from Lana Carter, to call her back at this number.  She said it was in regards to Alan Sterling, case #3637777 and she needed an immediate affadavit from him or she would accept his silence as his statement.  No mention if where she is from, who the case is with, and her voicemail when I called her back doesn't identify who she would be with, either.  How fishy.

We received a call from these people this morning. They told my husband they had filed a garnishment against his wages for a car we had repod a few years ago. I called them back and they told me the same thing and that they had sent us three certified letters to an address we had not lived in for the past four years and they claimed someone signed for the letters.  I told them I would contact my attorney and when I got off the phone I called the bank who had financed the car and spoke with a represenative of the bank and they told me this collection agency no longer had any of there accounts and was not representing them and the bank rep agreed to work with us and accept payments and a settlement to pay this debt off. The woman my husband spoke with Toni Warren was very rude when he asked her the name of the agency she worked for she told him it was  something legal and when he asked to speak with her supervisor she told him she did not have a supervisor. When I called the number I got ahold of a Cindy Walker and she virtually told me the same thing .There threats are very real sounding but they are a fraud.

This Lana Carter also called me today saying my son (who is an adult and doesn't live here gave my home number as a number to call which clearly he did not) had an affidavit of complaint against him and he needed to get the message within 48hrs and call them back, I said this is Friday how in the world can he call you with in that time frame on a weekend??? her answer was that gives him until Tuesday... I asked a lot of questions which she refused to answer saying "it" happened the 25th of Jan, so as a worried mother I called my son, who found this online there fore Lana will not get a return call. She said they needed a statement from him for this so called affidavit of complaint, so beware if you get these "unknown" calls that's how caller ID has it listed as Unknown. I tried to call her back as a bluff but of course it went to Lana's voicemail.

4/23/13 received a call from a Texas number asking for my husband , when I d who was calling the woman was very rude and aggressive. I demanded to know who was calling and was told the "office of Lana turner". When iasked who that was , she wouldn't tell me, so I asked to be put on the do not call list and hung up. She called back and said I wasn't helping my husbands case. I demanded Lana turners phone number and she provided 888 978 5196... Which I did call back and got the vm of a Lana turner... These aggressive callers need to be stopped somehow.

Called my mother. Stated that there was a warrant for my arrest. Asked to call her back ASAP as she was the Assistant District Attorney.

Lana Carter from Plano Texas keeps calling me (17 times in one day) from this number 214-380-2178  I called this number and got her answering machine, and got her several times also.  She said to me "Your mother's a [***]".  Literally, I flipped out, filed with the FTC, and HSBC, and the attorney general.

Just received a call asking for me from a Tx prefix
I asked who was calling and they didn't identify which company they were repersenting. Big red flag in my book, immediately hung up.
The caller followed up with a second call using my last 4 SSN stating the was a case against me for unpaid Fed Taxes.
I knew this was a bs story based on the fact they did not identify themselves as a representative of the Federal tax recovery office.
I am debating on filing a claim with the Treasury and Secret Service for fraud simce they obviously have some of my sensitive information. I had gone through the process years ago when my SSN card was stolen during a break in

Lana Cater is a scam artists at the very least a high pressure bill collector using lies to get money

The IRS does not call make ANY out going phone calls what so ever!
