I called the customer service number for my Chase credit card and got only a quick message saying to call 1-800-515-2500

upon calling it I began to get some kind of sex talk thing, which I hung up on.  Now I am wondering if I will be getting some kind of rediculous charges on my next phone bill.

Even i got the same message when i called up my some of the bank numbers.
what the hell is this ?????

i doubt if you can get a bill from a 800 number, but i was averted to this number also and i plan to either complain to the fcc of the attorney generals office or maybe both. the more complaints are made about this kind of stuff, the more likely something will be done about it.

I was calling a Key West hotel from a number I got in a travel guide to make a reservation and a message came up to call 1-800-515-2500.  I called it and got the same strange sex talk line... I hung up immediately.

Yeah they called my cell and left this number the number they called from was private and the message said there was illegal activity on my cell  to call them as soon as possible at 800-515-2500

I called a number listed for KD River Cruises and was given this number as an alternate number.  It  is apparently a porn talk site.  I have now been on hold with Verizon customer service for over 20 minutes to report it.  I am not certain how Verizon will deal with it but as a sharteholder I am not happy with their responsiveness so far or the lack of options in their website

The good news is that when I finally got a real person on the other end of the line, Eileen, She was supremely competent and helpful.  The original number I called for KD Cruises listed on their web site was 800-858-8587 and then referred to 800-515-2500.  I called Primetel Communications at 11:46 am and spoke to a woman who called herself Grace.  She was not at all helpful and denied that the 8587 number did not belong to KD Cruises and seemed little interested in contacting the owner of the number.  Given my career experience with international call centers and networks I would hardly recommend Primtel as a service provider.  The 800-515-number is through Wirestar Communications.
