Mr. Greene from this NCO has been calling relentlessly and leaves a message on occasion, that he is collecting a debt.  The trouble is we are not behind in bills and we do not owe anyone.  He is getting to be a pain in the a--!

Stranger than strange....I'm in Georgia, my sister-in-law is in Florida...they call here looking for her on an unregistered number that no one (not even family) has....

Getting severals calls/day, never saying who they are collecting for. Mr Green is sometimes the caller and other times no name.

NCO financial buys up old debt from the past 20 years and tries to collect it from the person who originally accrued it. You don't have to pay it and they do have to follow the guidelines of the FDCPA...they are bound by the FTC. Remember all you have to do is tell them you feel harassed and they will stop calling. The law defines harassment as a feeling.

I've received daily calls for the last week from this number.  It is an automated call and leaves a recorded message on my voicemail saying they are NCO Financial, a debt collection agency, and I'm supposed to call them back.  One was from a Miss Gill and the others from a Mr. Green.

The number they are calling is a blackberry given to me by the federal government for work.  I never give out this number and I don't own anyone money.  How do I get them to stop?
