- Billy| 1 replyClaimed they were from a Non-Profit Organization called "Intake" that could help reduce your mortgage. Said they are located in Los Angeles area. Just hang-up on them.
- Caller: "Intake"
- markthis is a scam, with poor service, and no web site.
- Jacob| 1 replyThis is a completely legit organization. I was skeptical at first but thanks to this company was able to save my home of 23 years! I am thank full behind explanation.
- Call type: Non-profit organization
- ChrisThe company name is National Mortgage Help Center. When you take to a representative they call it the Intake Center. They continue to call although I have requested many times they stop. I have told them today I consider their calls harrassment. I do not want robocalls to my cell phone, which are not allowed. My cell number is on the do not call list. This company is NOT a non-profit organization as per their web site, www.nmhcenter.org.

- Jody replies to BillyYea they called me too and each time I have asked that they stop, so now I am just faxing to their main number nonstop.
- Robert in NH replies to JacobAs another individual pointed out below, this is NOT a non-profit organization. Read the tiny tiny print at the bottom of their webpage, to learn everything they'd rather you NOT know about them.
- WABC NewsAutobot call. Autobot asked you to return call. When you return the call, a man answers the phone claiming to be the "intake department" for a mortgage refinance company. Sometimes he uses the name "Ryan", sometimes use the name "Derek," maybe he'll use the name "John" when you call.... doesn't matter, its the same scam artist trying to get your personal information so he can steal your identity! He asked for Social Security number, date of birth, mother's maiden name, bank account information. and he did this to a person who was not looking for a mortgage. Busted!
If you get a call from this company, they already have some of your information. They will get the rest of it - and when they do, you will be a victim of identity theft.
Your best course of action , contact the FTC immediately and the Attorney General. Protect yourself - this is a scam artist!- Caller: National Mortgage Center

- JoeyThese jerks have called me several times in the last few months. Each and every time I tell them that I am not interested and never asked for their help...yada yada yada...but they still call. When they called yesterday, I lost it and I won't repeat what I said. But I also threatened them with legal action. I doubt they'll listen and I bet they call again. They are NOT legit!!! Don't believe that crap! Yes, I'm on the Do Not Call Registry...but now that the government has shut down so many things, you can't even report to them now. Dammit!!! By them calling after asking them to stop calling, they ARE breaking the law and should get in trouble. But now...thanks to the government shut down...what the hell can we do??? I hate this! And I know I'm not the only one!

- charlesThis organization was patient and kind to me. They informed me of all my available options and actually treated me like a decent human being. I am shocked to read these other reviews regarding this company.
- Call type: Non-profit organization
- thomasThese people have called my phone continuous times asking if I need mortgage assistance. I gave them a try just to go with it and see what the hell. I got connected to a refinance company after 2 years of trying myself with absolutlely not help from my bank and finally reduced my mortgage from a 7.25 to a 4.00%. Not the best interest rate but I probably would not have refinanced if I didnt get properly connected to the right service. kudos
- Caller: mortgage help center?
