Caller with Indian accent claimed to be Victor from Microsoft. He said my computer had a virus and they could fix it by taking control from their end. I told him I was busy and to give me his number so I could call him back. I reported it to the real Microsoft but they were not too concerned and said to watch out for scams. Duh

I get that same call all the time.   I finally posted about it on facebook and had several comments from others saying they have also gotten that call.   I figured it to be a scam to get into all my computer info all along...but my posting confirmed it when one of my friends commented that her 91 year old mother has received that call twice and she has never owned a computer.   I have finally just started screaming the word SCAM into the phone as loud as I can when they call now...lol
