800-517-4281

I got the following SMS Text today.  When I called the 800 number Interactive Voice Reponse (IVR) asked for my credit card number. Fraudulant smishing/vishing to acquire name and credit card numbers.

I got the text. My credit union doesn't have an 800 #.

I, too, received an email stating that my account with Teche Federal Bank had been closed.  Please call 800-517-4281.  I received this about the first or second week in November.  I deleted the email but wrote down the bank name and number.  I checked the information on Teche Federal Bank and it does exist but none of their numbers were this 800 number.  I did not call the 800 number out our concern for theft of my personal information.
