    This number shows up on my phone as "Scam Likely". They leave an automated message stating the XL Energy is calling to inform me of my disconnection of services will take place today. This is NOT Excel calling. Never been late on payments to the REAL company!!

    "Mark" said he was calling from Xcel Energy and that they were disconnecting the service today. Account is current. While on the call, I searched the number and also called Xcel directly. The Xcel hold message warns about this specific scam.
