This number is a scam, fishing...  They began by saying my payment was rejected and were asking for updated information. I never signed up for any service with them. This is a scam.

Number showing on caller id belongs to Turbo Auto Protect according to google search.  Person on the phone says he is attempting to renew a subscription to Quickbooks and says the transaction was rejected.  He wanted to confirm payment information.  Asked him for the last digits of the credit card they used....completely wrong number.  Asked him for a number to call him back at and he gives 800 658-4949.  Bogus number when I called it back to see who I would reach.

Caller is asking to renew my annual service renewal" to Quickbooks.  He claims the card on file was declined. I have the desktop version, so I don't have a renewal. So, this is a phishing scam. He says he is calling from "ATS" Quickbooks. That isn't even the company that owns Quickbooks. It is Intuit. He gives a number to call back of 800-886-3959 and a recording comes on saying that it is support for Quickbooks, but this is not a ligit Quickbooks number.

just got the same call! I am sick and tired about those calls, my email was hacked yesterday as well, so I am super suspish now. I told them I wont give any information out die to being scammed and that I call Intuit myself. He said to me: happy birthday b...

sounds fishy to me.  It should be Intuit Quickbooks

Got a call from 800-518-0671, name was Greg calling from ATS Quickbooks....  He claimed our card on file was declined, so I called credit card company and they said there have been no attempts from Intuit or Quickbooks...  This is a scammmmmmm

PS also the number he gave to call him back was 800-886-3959 and when I called that number, the recording said it was Quickbooks but then went straight to a voicemail of a person named Mark Wheeler, which Quickbooks NEVER puts you in a voicemail box...

They have called my office twice now and the messages are just legit enough that my boss was going to call in. Jerry with Quickbooks Call Back @ 800-886-3959 Ext: 106...
"Caller states they are needing updated payment information. The card they have on file has been declined." Call came in on the # 8008250372...
Short, sweet and plausible... I called them back instead thank goodness. I was waiting for about 2 min for "Jerry" and googled the phone # as I was waiting and found this tread, I had my reservations that this was smelly...  QB's customer service is GREAT, may be a bit slow on a hold... but I have never left voice messages, and the names on the message recording was not even the same, "Jerry" got a stern recording from me. Really tough to find respect for these people doing Phishing scams. Hope they don't fool any hard working, Legit, Businesses!

Just received a call from this number. They asked for accounts payable or person in charge of Quickbooks. They then stated that our subscription was about to renew and our card had been declined. This sounded fishy to me, so I asked for a call back number. Our subscription doesn't renew for another few weeks, and I knew QB wouldn't just be testing out my card a few weeks before. the number that called (800) 518-0671

Called business line after hours and left voice mail. Claimed to be from Quickbooks and credit card was declined. He was very pleasant on the voice mail. Definitely phishing, I don't use Quickbooks..
