I didn't answer the call, and they left no message.  Can't find a listing at whitepages.com either.

they called me notifying me about my grant I was chosen and he gave me another contact number but my phone messedup on me and I dont have that information anymore he told me to call back and I only have this number. Is this number a scam

they too keep calling me and hangs up, never leaves a message. that leads me to know that they are a farce and have no business that I need

Calls and hangs up, tried to call back and got a message that says the number I am calling can not be reached by my area code. Live in Utah

Got a call from this company twice today, answered the second time they asked for jessica, (no one here by that name), so I said you have the wrong number. The guy says "you loser" and hangs up on me. What the *&^$?? Not my fault you dialed the wrong number. sounds like a scam type company. already filed a complaint with the do not call registry. I suggest everyone else do the same.

Yes it's scam I already report it . They just want your bank account number and information everything they want out of you.

The scam is that they will give you a code and a number to call. When you call that number, you will be automatically charged a huge fee similar to calling a psychic or porn line.

This number has called 12 times so far today. I do NOT answer.

Got a call from this number. Listen to his rant about a grant in a foreign accent. Asked for bank info credit card number. I hung up after I told him that he wasn't getting info.

Calls every hour, refuses to quit.

i keep getting calls from number 800-518-4765 i told them they keep calling the wrong number but they keep calling me and telling me why i got a wrong number

They called telling me I won a grant and that it would only take 15 minutes to have the money transferred to my account. They had all of my information. I just hung up the phone.

NEVER answer a phone call (mobile or land line) from a number you do not recognize- if it's important- the CALLER will leave a message. These SCAMMER/SCUMBAGS WILL NEVER LEAVE A MESSAGE    

First a heavily accented asian woman called from an unavailable number and I told her sorry but I can barely understand a word you're saying. 3 minutes later 1-800-518-4765 calls and it is a guy asking for me, no accent lol! He asks for me by name and when i say what is this regarding ,the [***] idiot says, with quite the attitude mind you, it's regarding a whole lotta grant money.  Lose my number [***]! He hung up lol!

This guy had a heavy eastern/middle eastern accent.  Said he was with the government and that I qualified for a special grant of $7,800.  He already had my name, address, phone number, and email address.  He said I had three choices to receive my government grant 1)direct deposit into my bank account, 2) a credit to my credit card, and 3) cash transfer through western union.  Of course all these require giving him confidential financial information and just sending me a check was not an option.  When I asked where he was calling from, he said Washington, DC.  I asked to speak with his supervisor to confirm he was with the government, he said he didn't have a supervisor.  I said everyone in the government has a supervisor.  I also asked where he lived, he replied Washington.  I said that was very unusual, most people who work in Washington usually live outside of Washington.  He finally got angry and frustrated then hung up.

I tried calling back, but the number does not accept incoming calls.

I had the time to play around with this criminal and call him out.  Unfortunately the promise of $7,800 might be too enticing for some folks, especially the elderly.  Please tell your friends and family to be aware of such criminals.  I am reporting this one to the Illinois Attorney General's office.

***Update***  Since this low life claimed to be with the federal government, I just reported the number to the FBI on their tips website.  Its a felony to falsely claim to be a Federal agent.

The guy I got asked how big my [***] was, called me a [***], threated to hunt me down and kill me, and said he [***] my mother. I ain't going down without a fight.

I received a call from this number and have received several calls in the past few weeks.  The person has a HEAVY Indian accent and calls himself "Tom Smith"  (right)  The state my number and name have been selected to receive a FREE government grant.  After receiving more than one of these calls I try to egg them on (GIVING NO INFORMATION) and conclude that they are thieves and spammers.  One of their opening tactics is calling you Mr. and your first name.  Last oerson I spole to I informed them I know who they were and that they were thieves and that I would hunt them down shoot them in the back of the head and then eat a hamburger over thier grave. (The last part put my caller into a true rage and he began cussing at me)  I then calmed him down by talking calmly and I spoke quieter I then blew a VERY LOUD Whistle into my phone.  I heard him drop the phone.  What a tool.
