They left a message stating it was Amazon Billing & Fraud Dept and they were verifying an order for a new IPhone 12 to be delivered to New Mexico.  Said to call them back at this number when I get the message.  I deleted it

Claiming they're from Amazon, stating sme expensive phone sent to New Mexico? Sounds like another BS scam. Don't fall for it. Keep a close eye on your bank statements online and you would know if someone was actually taking money or not. Any questions regarding Amazon, you should go online and get their number directly from their website. Do not trust any message that gives you a number to call, because it only takes you directly to their scams site. People claiming they're from Amazon when they're not. Again, don't fall for their BS scams. Scammers suck

Got a call from Amazon fraud department, supposedly, wanting to confirm a $900 phone being sent to New Mexico. I knew it was a scam from the get-go, I am just putting it out there for anyone else that might not know. Don't call back any number that they want you to call, because it's a scam site. It's not the real Amazon. If you want to contact the real Amazon just go their website and their phone numbers are there.

Left a message wanting to confirm a phone being sent to New Mexico. They claimed they were from Amazon, but I know better. Sounds like a scam  so be warned, people. Do not call the number back, just block them. I also reported to Amazon fraud department

called from 800-523-3760 amazon, saying I ordered and $800+ cell phone and it was being shipped, hit 1 and the # key to cancel.  Another jerk scammer!  The do not call list is a joke also.

Scam call.  They left an automated message today, claiming to be from Amazon. Caller ID showed a cellular call from 615-972-8360.  The message said a charge for $987 was placed for an order being shipped to New Mexico, and if I had not placed this order, contact Amazon Fraud department at 800-523-3760. I checked my Amazon account online, and there was no order activity.  Don't fall for these lowlife scammers.

Same VM. Caller ID says 908-420-1287.  With a name of "Matthew B..." something.  F-in scammers.   Same # to call 800-423-3760. Claiming to be Amazon Fraud Protection.  Who protects us from them????

Why doesn't Amazon do something to stop them from claiming to represent its company?

Same message received, call originated from +27 4485289215 (South Africa), VM said it was from Amazon  Fraud & billing, requested call back to 800-523-3760

Same story as all the rest of you.  They called about 6:45 pm today.

Aug 27, 2021. With T-mobile, it already came in as "Scam Likely" thanks to that feature. Left a voicemail with the same, activity on amazon, iphone 11 pro for $987, blah blah. Not a bad try tho, this one's a bit scary. Also: The actual call supposedly routed from +27 5825168066 South Africa. The number left on VM was 800 523-3760. Appreciate this site!

Just received a call from Alexa at Amazon with the same message as everyone else is reporting. My call said an IPHONE 11 for 987.00 charged.
Yes it is a scam!!!!!
