Received a call from this number. Did not answer. They did not leave a message.
I blocked the number.

800-524-3380 Is the number on the back of chase freedom credit card (customer service) when you make an outgoing call to 800-524-3380 it connects you with a Medicare scam NOT chase

So wait - you're saying that Chase put the phone number to a Medicare scam on the back of their credit cards?! That makes no sense.

Somehow (800) 524-3380 chase credit card customer service number is being high jacked and instead of connecting to chase the call is being forwarded to some sort of Medicare scam? Puzzling at best.

I'm not seeing that phone number on their website as Customer Service for Credit Cards.  I have to wonder if you simply didn't dial the wrong phone number.  Often those types of scams are set up with one digit off from the actual number in the hopes that someone dials the wrong number.  No one can "hijack" a phone line.  They can spoof a number but they cannot intercept the phone call.

I dialed the number multiple times and checked very carefully to make sure it was the number on the back of my chase credit card. This was not a one-off situation as I called the number several times all ending with the same result. I know it sounds crazy…

Jack is a scammer, here to shill false info, trying to mislead people about their scam number. Scammers are known to buy toll free numbers close to the legitimate bank numbers, hoping for a victim to mistype a number.
