- cmb74| 1 replyReceived a call that was auto-blocked by my call protect app. I see folks saying it's a number for Chase Bank. Not sure why Chase would call me since I don't have accounts with them! Think someone is spoofing Chase's number to get people to pick up.

- No SpoofeeGot a call from this number yesterday afternoon. I I did not answer. They did not leave a message. I don't have any accounts with Chase.
- LearnI got called from this number but I missed the call. After research, I found this number is from Chase Bank but I don't have any account of Chase Bank. I think spammers using this number to spam people. Be careful people.
- AnnoyedI, too, am not a Chase Bank customer, but I got the basic stupid autocall message left on my vmail..... missing the beginning of the message and skips to something like "stay on the line to be connected with a ....." then silly music and then the old "Good Bye" and hangs up.

- AssociateThis number has called my demented mother at the assisted living facility. They are up to no good.
- MNot a Chase customer, yet contacted by this number.

- TheCallGuy📲 🤖 This number, having United States as the caller name, just called my mobile phone. After giving a nonsensical greeting that a live person would be confused by, I instead heard a recorded message that opened with "This is not a sales call," and then said it was from the Cardholder Services Department (or something similar) and claimed I was eligible for 0% interest on my credit card.
Even though other posts have stated this number belongs to Chase, I believe credit card scammers are spoofing this number in an attempt to make it seem more legitimate or credible. That's why the best thing to do is contact the bank or credit card issuer directly with any questions, issues, or concerns when the number seemingly calls out of the blue.- Call type: Scam suspicion
- JWSI received a call from this number. Â However, I did not answer and no message left. Â It comes up on caller ID as Chase Freedom. Â It is identical to the number on the back of my Chase Freedom card. Â I contacted Chase to verify if it was them that called. Â It was not. Â Chase told me the number on the back of the card only receives calls and is never used for outgoing calls. Â Therefore, the number was spoofed in an effort to get me to answer and phish for information or scam me. Â Be careful!!

- robbyFound this number on my phone this afternoon as an incoming call that never went to voice mail
Yes this looks like it  is from Chase, but they do not call you from a 800 number- Caller: ?
- MichaelRang once and then dead. Googled the number — unlikely that it's really Chase as we're i Canada and have never dealt with them.
- meThis is a legitimate Chase Freedom number.
This number has been spoofed or 'masked' by entity, or entities that wish to defraud unsuspecting (usually elderly) folks who do answer and fall for their spiel. Â Chase is aware of the masking issue and working on it.
Rep recommendation: Don't answer the phone; just wait for a message to be left. Â Chase, or any financial institution, will leave a message if they suspect fraudulent activity.
Call the number on the back of debit or credit card so your financial institution is aware of their number being spoofed. They will check account and verify there are no issues.- Caller: Masked, Spoofed number
- MjCame up as spam call by my blocker. When I checked the voicemail they left it was nothing but silence. I don’t have a chase acct either so I’m sure it wouldn’t have been them.
- Caller: Blocked as spam

- DyffdI let the answering machine get this as it's an unknown number. Â Not shocked to find it was another scammer.
- KittySpam, no message left

- BS DetectorI received a call on my company cell phone with this number showing on the call ID. No message was left. Like others have reported, I verified that the number matches the customer service number on the back of Chase Bank credit cards. The catch is that I have NEVER provided Chase Bank with my office cell number, just my personal phone numbers. So, I'm totally confident in saying this is a Scammer that has spoofed the number!
- Caller: Spoofed Chase Bank (Imposter)

- Scolem95I received a call from this number and they told me that they have been monitoring my credit card payment history over the past 6 months and told me I was approved for 0.00 % interest rates... But the thing is I don't even have a credit card and when they asked how many cards I have I replied "zero" Â and they immediately hung up the phone and when I tried calling back to try speaking with a customer service representative it told me that I have to enter my full 16 digit card number to speak with a representative...... So basically I'm convinced that this was scammers.
