- Jane DoeCaller hung up after only 4 rings, so no message left. Caller ID said "Potential Spam" (well, DUH). Not surprised to see the number of complaints (only that there were enough on Whitepage.com to have THEM flag the number as being high risk.
- Caller: "Potential Spam"
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- Bruno Colapietro replies to James. Chance| 1 replyMy chase credit card was not acepted at a gas station. Is there a problem with the accountL
- BigA replies to Bruno ColapietroIf you think that person who clearly posted here in 2014 will be back after 6 years to answer your question, one that should have asked of the bank, then you don't deserve to have a credit card.

- ValReceived a call from this number. A man with a thick Indian accent, asked me if I had recently tried to make an internet purchase. I asked him with which card because I have more than one chase credit card. He gave me the first 6 digit of my Southwest card. But I told him that I was unable to continue talking at that time and would call Chase back. I then hung up. I then called the number on the back of my card and was told there was no indication or notes saying there was anything wrong with my card. The representative also checked my other Chase cards and there was nothing wrong. Spammers are spoofing chase phone numbers to get people to give them the rest of the credit card number.

- Mark Schwab| 1 replyReceived a call showing as JP Morgan. Since I had just called CS at Chase, thought it was a follow up. They also had way too much information on my account, balance. After the caller asked way too much information,. I realized this was not right. The caller gave me his employee number, name and said a supervisor would call since I was skeptical. I now was sure it was a scam. Because they knew the balance in my account, I was very disturbed. I Googled the number, 800.524.3880 while on the phone with them. They also told me I would be receiving a new debit card, because someone tried to charge 1000 on Amazon and 700 on Ebay. SaidI i would receive that card by Friday. I hung up on the caller and Immediately called Chase Fraud division. This is a scam, and ghosting of the Chase Freedom line. Chase is monitoring my accounts, issued a new debit card, and advised me to call Transunion Credit Reporting to Flag my Cedit file. Which I did. Again, Winthin 24hours all the Credit Reporting Agencies will know of this attempt of fraud on my information. The scarry thing is, they seem to have access to a lot of my information. Had joined Credit Lock as well and notified them. I normally never answer my cell. Going back to that practice
- Caller: JPmorgan Chase

- Tygerkat replies to Mark SchwabYou mean they were "spoofing" the Chase Freedom line. "Ghosting" is something completely different.
- Me replies to cmb74I hung up and called a different number for chase.A lady said from India you have verified your info.I said no I didn't I hung up Jacob Rodriguez name kept coming up scam
- ChuckIt's a scam - They will ask for your full CC number, exp date and CVV code, saying that they need in order to access your account and verify transaction. That was suspicious so I hanged up and called the CHASE number on the back of the card and indeed that call from 800-524-3800 was fraud!

- MomSCAM ALERT! Do not provide any information to them. Somehow they have enough information on you to feel comfortable to give them more. I learned the hard way today. It is not Chase. Someone out of the country.
