I keep getting calls and no one is there I beleive it is a fax

I AM TIRED OF RECEIVING CALLS FROM THIS #.  I GET CALLS EVERY 30 MINUTES.

I am getting hundreds of calls from this number which appears to be a fax. Please stop calling my phone. The calls don't actually come through since I don't have a fax machine but shows up on my bill. I would like this number to stop calling me.

Customer keeps getting calls from this number but unable to call back and it always sounds like a fax is coming through.

I just finished talking with Direct TV Marketing.  They were very nice and helpful.  Their number is 1-800-531-5000.  They did not deny that this was coming from their marketing people.  Give them a call and see what happens.

This is an OUTGOING call generated from my DirecTV DVR box which reports any pay-per-view purchases I might make. It polls and submits reports many times per 24hr period regardless if you make any pay-per-view purchases.

This is a number your DirecTV and DVR calls automatically. However, I know of no reason it should call you.
I found this as an outgoing call in my OOMA log, and looked it up here. I have no problem with it.

I'm sure someone on here can do that for you. I did have a button I could push and it'd kill unwanted calls for those who requested it, but it's out of order. Sorry to inform you, but there's nobody on here that can stop them better than you. The site doesn't offer call blocking nor can anyone stop pests from calling people. Consider a call blocker/app, or don't answer in any way if you can.~I Was Prepared~JustinCase

Why does it call ? This just started and I have done nothing that I know of to start this.

The calls are probably not coming from the phone # shown. Spammers can now appear to be calling from any number they choose. And they seem to prefer the phone numbers of businesses. When I've let this go to voice mail, it hangs up. My conclusion: spammer!!!!

I have this same number calling from my house. Not to me. So If what is true from up above that's it the DirecTV DVR? I just unplugged all lines connected to any DirecTV device I have. I don't watch pay per view so it doesn't matter. I'll see if it stops now.
