unknown company calling to say repair has been made . No repair requested and company does not identify itself so as to help understand call. might be a scam. be careful.

Called hung up

Called yesterday and today.  I hung up yesterday and did not bother to answer today.

This company is a legitimate warranty company for some major retail consumer electronic/appliance chains. If they called you and you did not have any business with them, it was just a wrong number. I am not certain why they would call and hang up-unless the caller realized (before you picked up) that the wrong number had been called. Very unprofessional to do this and/ or to call and not identify the company name as stated on another note above. But I believe it. I am actually trying to call THEM today and from the moment they supposedly "opened", they have been having technical difficulties and would not take any calls.

received prerecorded  message from unknown company telling me my tv has been repaired ,no answer when called back

I got the call also because I got my Xbox 360 repaired from Walmart from there extended warranty (1-800-533-7639), got a pre paid label from Walmart customer service via email to stamp on the box to ship it in to them..this number called me 1 week later to confirm my repaires were completed.

Bought a well pump from Tractor Supply along with a 3-year extended warranty. Pump went bad, went to exchange it, & was told to call the number on my warranty plan. After talking to them, they said they were going to submit my claim & a certified facility would be getting in touch with me. That's who this was.

This was the warranty company covering my lowes extended warranty - possibly Asurion. They hang up a little quick but left a message about reimbursing me for my unfixable fridge.

This is legit. They called me regarding a warranty claim that I had truly made on an item I had bought on Amazon. The message didn't mention Amazon because Amazon had outsourced this to a subcontractor who in turn had outsourced it to sub-subcontractor.
So if you get a call think about whether you have ANY warranty claim outstanding with any shop because it might have gotten outsourced to these guys.

received 4 calls today within 10 mins a couple of hours ago. I wasn't available to answer any calls, after their 4th call they sent me a text message saying that my product was beyond repair and they are sending me a refund for my purchase price.

The very same thing happened to me, except that I was waiting for a call for Asurion, a warranty company that I am working on.  Caller ID did not identify them.   The recording specified that it was a warranty company.  I missed the call, but called back immediately.   A recording answered:  "For quality purposed, we will record the call...).  Then it beeped, and the voice said, "We cannot take this call due to technical difficulties."
