Woman named Brittany Jacob called. Said she had papers to serve. Gave me a case #. She did not show up today, as she said she would. I do not know the company, or what she would be serving about. I reversed the number and got LRA. Not sure if that is up to date. Completely confused by this. Sounds like a debt collector, but I have never heard of them, and don't know why someone would serve papers.

I got a call from Brittany saying that I would be served today at my residence or job.

Process servers do NOT call first!!  They arrive unannounced!  Demand written proof of a debt MAILED to you.  Otherwise, think SCAM.  Give them no information!

I just go the same call from brttany and have been for the last three days, so today I offered to meet her with the papers she had for me she said she will have to call me back when she was on her way to see if she was able to..I asked her to meet me at the nearest precinct and she said she could not go to any other address other than the one that was located on the paperwork so I asked her what address she had and she said she couldn't give me the address because she didn't know if it was me...I told her well you been talking to me and giving me info all week and she hung up stating she was on her way.

I  just got a call from Brittany Martian saying that she would come to my home or job to serve me papers I don't have a clue why she would do that and I  don't know this company if it's a 1-800 number then .............

I'd be eager to find out what propulsion method Brittany Martian uses in her suborbital work vehicle. That's got to come with high process service fees, boy.

I just received the same call. She gave me a phone number and case number. When I called they just put me on hold. I hung up and googled the number and found these posts.

Got a voicemail from and unknown number. Message said that she was Marie Smith stating she is a private courier with papers to serve me tomorrow unless I obtain a stop order from the filing company.  She said that I can contact them at 800-533-7957 and reference a case number that she left for me, otherwise she will be at my place of residence or employment tomorrow to serve me. Called the number back and they wanted my social to verify who I was and I told them to tell me who they were and they wouldn't until I gave them info so I said no way and hung up.
SCAM I'm sure!
