Schwab's Options Department -- recorded message letting you know you've been assigned because your option was in the money

Ok. Schwab. Why doesn't the number show a company name? And why no message?

Called early AM, Caller ID /s/ Charles Schwab. /S/ they had info re my account (4# given) and to enter the acct # or last 4 of SSAN to get it. I didn't recognize the acct # but (being groggy on awaking) made the mistake of entering SSAN last 4. They then /s/ the info didn't match and hung up. Called Schwab's main #; they /s/ they had no info for me & feared it was a scam, and Caller ID might have been ghosted. /S/ they would raise my alert level, and suggested I call credit agency to alert them & freeze my account. I tried to call the # back, and it was busy. If this is options at Schwab, as entries here suggest, left hand not know what right is doing!

Follow up to preceding entry: Called Schwab - the # is in their directory as the "options branch", so call may have been valid. Wife also has a separate Schwab account, and they may have been trying to reach her. Am somewhat less concerned.

Robo calls numerous times a day.  No one comes to the phone when you go on hold to request it verbally to take our number out of their system.

Constantly robo called.  We have asked for this to be removed and they say they do not make these kind of calls.
