Number belongs or belonged to one Randy Madison of Boynton Beach, FL.
Now it appears in craigslist ads for "take over payments" homes simlar to Anchor House Financial and First Step Equity.

Does anyone know anything about this guy, his business practice or if this/he is legitimate?

Called this number to find out about a ridiculously low priced 3 bdr apartment.  Guy answered and wanted my name before he even said what his business was.  I asked if he was a rental agency, he said yes, and that he was a national company based in Santa Monica. When I mentioned what this web page said about his 800 number, he called me inspector gadget and ended the phone call.

Researched a little more but limited information out there. One thing is for sure if it sounds to good it is. I found an add on Craigslist as well no address for the property, only an 800 number to contact. I'll pass.

This number is listed for a house to rent ad in which the house was formerly for sale (had it as a favorite on Redfin, etc.). The rent seems very low, but it is a real house and was really for sale...I wonder if they went into foreclosure?

I called this number (800)536-1781 too. Lets fill the internet that this is a fraud number. I am trying to get this info to craigslist too. They ask you to pay 60 dollars to get the fake addresses of rental properties. Its a total fraud.

I called this number from Craigslist, a nice house with low monthly rent. House Price Line is the company he said he was working for. Google doesn't show anything complementary about this company name.

Beware, their website is not secure when entering ANY credit card details. This is a MAJOR problem for them, they don't care about your credit card number.
