I recieved a call from John with Grand Sweepstakes Givaway. He said I had entered to win a Lincoln Navigator and he had good news from me. The number he gave to call back was  1-800-536-9567 to a Christy "McCullen?"When u call back u have to leave a message. I am sure this is a scam to. I havent entered any contest like that.

I got the same call today.

Same thing I got a call today on my answering machine from John saying congratulations and call this number to talk to Christy Macaw or something like that. I did call the 800 number but I got an answering machine I left my name and number as I figured they all ready had that much information. I am waiting to receive a call back.

They called me yesterday 8-11-2008. They used the same names and phone #'s. I actually got someone to answer Christy Mccall's phone  when I called, first got  a man,said his name was Travis. Called back later (twice), got a girl sounded black, second time got Christy, sounded like the same person. I hung up- I tried to get a name & address for these phone #'s, but refuse to pay $14.95 for the info. This is a scam, that needs to stop. I am on the federal no call list, but that doesnt seem to matter. The first call came from 219-512-9940 and they left 800-536-9567 number requesting I call Christy. I live in the East Tennessee area, so BEWARE!!!

I received the same kind of call from "John".  On the message, he stated the I entered a sweepstakes (No I didn't), and that they have "good news for me"  I should call Christie at 800-536-9567.  This must be a scam!!  S

Received the same message this afternoon on my voice mail...called the number out of curiousity ...the lady said she was Christy's supervisor and Christy was on another line with someone...and she would call me back in a few minutes ..I asked about the promotion and she said it has been going on for about 18 months and the sponsor was some real estate development "Villas of ???(can't remember the name) ...Could be trying to obtain personal info..although from what I have read online...there's nothing being done like asking mney or anything....
She hasn't called back. If she does, I will find out more info to share on this site ... There must be an organization clearing house online that can help determine the legitimate contests from the scams. I'll search for that too and post it if I find anything!

Scam call from 1-800-536-9567 recorded message said I had won a Lincoln Navigator. I never entered a contest and the phone number they called I have only have for a few weeks and have not given it our.
Don't waste your time calling them back.

no specific details. im just cautious about who would be calling me from a 1-800 number.
