Contact Resource Services Debt Collection Services based out of Ontario. They currently handle CIBC, Canadian Tire and Rogers. I am not sure what else they collect on. They only handle the case on behalf of the companies, as I was told they do not sell them the debt. This could be wrong as we all know if they sell the debt you no longer are legally obligated to pay as you have no contract with them. So it is important to find out if they did sell it or not before you go any further.
Firstly the person who contacted me was very mean and unprofessional. She was angry, had the wrong information on my last payment and refused to answer whether she was a lawyer or not. As they threaten you with legal action, employment garnishment etc. Remember though if you still paying on your debt slowly this shows you are still actively trying to pay it down and works for you.
Secondly, they record every conversation. To get them mad state you do not give them permission to record them. They will refuse so hang up if they won't, this way they can not take anything into court about what you said. So repeat yourself throughout the conversation that you do not agree to being recorded.

There is a letter you need to fax to them to tell them that they can only contact you via lettermail.

These idiots called me at 7:16 am (Lucky I keep my ringer off at that hour) and left a message for someone that I don't even know.  These idiots can't even dial the right number.

Im getting a call from this number 18005451904 ext.1506 harassing me and they said they are from immigration that i have to contact them for legal matter. I am so stress right now that my vacation is ruined. they even said that if i cant call them back May 9 i might have a problem getting back in Canada. This is the information given to me:
