personals line. my girl/wife  is cheating i found out

This is a weird solicitor/telemarketer call.  A recorded message asked for my wife by name.  Said if she is not available, press 1 to go get her or press 2 to take a message for her.  I pressed 2 to see what would happen and another toll free 800 number was left for her to call.  I called that 800 number and got a message with a menu of a wide array of options that included bankruptcy, horoscope, etc.  Do they really get customers this way?

This number, 888-545-4170, kept calling my phone asking for an individual not living at our residence.  The person would not give his name.  I told the person the individual did not live at my residence.  Cannot find what organization is calling because they will not give it and computer searches do not allow it to be shown.
